Waaah! It's back!!!

I've got m/s again! Throwing up and everything! I've been in denial for the past four days; I've had bouts of it here and there up until this point, so every day for the past four days I'd just dismiss it as an isolated thing. But today I realized (after throwing up first thing) that this is not getting better. In fact, it's getting worse. AND I'm on my Diclectin, which isn't helping in the slightest! Boooooooooo!!!!!!!!:puke2::puke2::puke2:

I'm 15 weeks! Things are not going according to plan!

Hi Eva!

Sorry to hear that! I was the same. However I used to take 5 pills per day and when my MS came back very severly my dr. told me to take 8 per day....2 at a time four times a day. It has definitely helped...although I just threw up my lunch...

Hmmnnn... Feeling a bit silly now. Immediately upon posting, I started to feel better. Let's hope it stays away!

It's different this time at least--I actually can eat through it. It's not making me gag on food like before. But nothing is helping when it attacks, either.

Baby is going to get a severe talking to when s/he arrives.

Maybe I should do this... Take 2 each time... Thanks!

ugh, what a bummer!!! m/s sucks!!! i'm on diclectin too and i've found that i've had to play around a bit with the dosage and timing...it doesn't really get rid of the m/s, but just seems to take the edge off just enough so that i can eat/function.

good luck...i hope that now that you are feeling better, it stays that way!!!!

I know--Diclectin is weird. Have you figured out what the time delay is? How many hours? I can't quite sort it out. But then again, I often throw up in the morning when I'm supposed to be on the strongest dose (two pills from the night before), so who knows what's going on. But it has been a life saver--before it I was so miserable.

Ugh sorry you're dealing with that - but maybe venting about it helped! Wink

That sucks BIG TIME! When I repeatedly tried to wean myself off at 11-12 weeks I found that it took almost 1 day for the full diclectin effect to start (and wear off). So the first day off I'd feel great just to feel crappy the next day. Equally, when I started taking it again I would feel crappy the next day but fine 2 days after. So you might want to try to take the 2 pills at lunch time or late afternoon/early evening to feel good in the morning... I would just play around with dosage/timing until things improve. I have heard of people taking up to 4 at a time but have no idea if that is a good idea or not.

Are you really tired and run down for some reason? I found that my nausea was way worse when I was tired. Also, I (still) have to eat within 10 minutes of getting up or I throw up with no warning whatsoever. I have heard of people getting M/S back and truly hope you are not one of them :bighug:

I take two pills at night to combat the morning, but it doesn't help. And I'm leary of taking more than two. This morning I upped my dosage to two pills as well, so let's see what that does. I'm playing around with it.

I have bad insomnia (I fell asleep at 4:30 am last night), so perhaps this is affecting it, but I don't feel very tired.

What I can say is that it's not 24/7--night is bad and morning and early afternoon is bad. I can hopefully ride this out. I just need to figure out what time to take the Diclectin so it activates at night. I think this is the only time I'm not covered...
