Whats w the ad? OT

Anyone else have the GMC ad at the bottom of the page that wont go away even when u click close? Its only on here so i know its not adware or anything....

On another note, I just had a really weird sensation where my uterus is, felt like something moving around in there which i know shouldnt be right.....
There is goes again but even longer.... hmmmm

Hi,

Just wanted to let your board know that I have dropped a note to Missy/Jules to ask about it. I'm sure one of them will let us know if it's supposed to be there or not... and get rid of it if it's not. I know it's frustrating but please be patient until we find out. THANKS!! Smile

The thing I dislike most is that when I am using my phone the add stat right on the top posts and doesn't move. You can't even close it. So I can't see the first few new posts unless it lags and I am super quick to click.

It's awful on a laptop - I can't imagine on a little phone screen!

Yeah, it's really freaking distracting and annoying. If it was here when I first came to these boards, it would be enough to make me join another site. Like babycenter or something. I just dragged my window down so it's off the screen and I don't have to look at it.

Safari adblocker makes it go away but on Firefox, even my ad blocker isn't stopping it. So I stopped using Firefox

I thought it was just me - I had Googled stuff about cars the other day, and I was thinking that my adware/malware blocker wasn't working right because all of a sudden I have these car ads popping up on this site.

It's HELLA ANNOYING.

I remember those in early preg too, just little bumps here and there. Everything is growing and reacting to hormones and so on. It's still SO exciting Smile

It's majorly annoying. It keeps popping up every time a new page loads.

If you use Internet Explorer, somebody just posted this solution on the host board. I just did it and it works.

Click on tools, at top of internet browser page
Select Internet options, at bottom of list
Click on Security, second tab on top
Click on Restricted sites, last logo on settings
Click on the button that says Sites
And add http://pshared.5min.com

That should get rid of the ad. Biggrin

This is what was posted in regards to Google Chrome:

You can get adblock plus for google chrome. It's a free download if you don't have it. Just click options and add the site url http://pshared.5min.com . It will block it.
