Help me please!!!

My hair has been falling out in handfuls. . like I'm shedding everywhere. When I wash it, as soon as I take my hands out of my hair to rinse it, my hand is literally COVERED in strands of hair. It's very long, waaaay past my bra strap and fine texture. Keeping it long is the only thing I can do to make it look decent normally. Plus, I can't afford a haircut right now.

I use a long-hair conditioner but that's not helping. Of course, half the websites I've checked says it's a symptom of GD, which worries me even more about my test on Friday.

Is there anything I can do??

October!? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that! Jeesh. Rowan will be 9months on the 16th and Kaylee is almost a 3.5!! Where did the time go??

I'm making homemade pumpkin pies and pastry cinni rolls Wednesday or Thursday for my dad's birthday. (: I love this time of year because it means I get to make all my favorite dishes and bake like a mad woman! We also LOVE Halloween so I'm pumped for this year. K is going as Cinderella R will be Spock idk what me and belly will be this year.

Taylor-I didn't have that issue with GD but a friend did they gave her some shampoo to help.

Taylor - I'm sorry about the hair! I've never heard of it being related to GD. I didn't start shedding with DD until postpartum (then it stopped around the 1 year mark) but it started up again in full force with this pregnancy and didn't slow down until about a month ago. It's such a pain! I wish I had a resolution for you.

Ashley - Now I want sweets even more! I love baking I just don't have a lot of practice so I tend to stick to simple stuff. All this baby wants is cookies, brownies, ice cream . . . I also am having a hard time coping with the fact that it's already October, though it's my favorite month.

We just got back from a play date a little while ago. It went pretty well. It was with a mom's group that has a good range of kids (age wise) but sometimes it feels cliquey. It wasn't so bad today but high school type stuff like that is really discouraging to me.

I'm making cinnamon honey butter today! It's supposed to be just like Texas Roadhouse's butter. I'm still waiting on the butter to finish softening up.

Mia-Sorry! Lol I'd send you a pie if I.could (; My cravings are insane and.random. They will NOT go away until satisfied which makes eating anything else difficult
There's a mommy group here in our town, it was like being in HS again so we.never went back. SO frustrating.

Lesli- You're not the only one! I get them daily multiple times a day. It seems like even breathing lately will get them off. Grr!

Lesli, no braxton hicks for me. Of course you're a bit farther than me. Hopefully they're not too bothersome!

Taylor, sorry about the hair loss! I don't have any words of advice other than to put in a call to your midwife and see what she has to say. I usually don't lose hair until postpartum, but then it comes out like crazy for abou 6 months! BTW, your butter sounds delicious!

Mia, sounds like a good playdate! I wish I had mom's group locally, but there isn't anything in my small town.

AFM, I just finished watching Grey's from last week. Good lordy....that was a yank on the emotions! I think I cried through half of it! I was going to watch it last night, but I was sick so I went to bed as soon as I got home. It wasn't the flu, but it was awful! It was like horrible gas pains...worse than what I typcially feel after delivery. Luckily I was able to sleep it off and feel better today.

Hi Lesli!! Glad to see you. Smile BH are an all the time thing for me these days. It just reminds me how close were are getting to the end and how much there is left to prep for.

Holly - Good thing it wasn't the flu. DD was sick with a little cold the other week that she caught from a friend, she passed it to my dad while he babysat for me but he had it so much worse. Being sick with something there isn't much you can do for except rest is the worst.

I"m glad it's a rainy day here in that we can lounge around but it's going to be so hard to not go to the grocery store for a couple things. All I want to eat is junk/sweet stuff and I'm about out of all we have in the house for it. DD's favorites are running low too so that's going to be fun. I'm going to try and resist though as we have just had bill after bill lately so we're pretty tight on money. I miss having a good "cushion" in the bank and not having to worry about things like that. Hopefully we'll get back to that after the pregnancy.

Holly, I loved the premiere! It was actually very brilliant on their part. So many people have given up on the show and most likely only watched to see how they were rescued and then stop the series. Now, they've sucked them back in without them even realizing it because you know they're going to watch this week. So I think they'll end the next episode with a hook as well to keep them fully into it.
I think people are being ridiculous about Grey's. It's a primetime SOAP OPERA. Do you hear people constantly complaining about everyone they've killed off on General Hospital or ER? If someone chooses to leave the show, of course it's going to be dramatic. I'm kinda mad they gave Mark an entire episode of memories and death whereas Lexie only got 20 minutes and no memorial. She was on the show maybe a year less than him.

Mia, I'm a very good baker! Cooking, I'm learning. Baking, I can do. Except decorate, I'm not a very good cookie decorator. I was hoping I'd find some Halloween-themed baking stuff, like chocolate chips or things like that but I only found sprinkles and Funfetti mix. So I got Christmas ones.

Brandon has learned to sing "Blue Christmas" and "Welcome Christmas" (The Grinch's Whoville song). He likes looking at color-centric Christmas trees. And pumpkins.

I'm looking forward to Grey's tomorrow night. I didn't see what it was supposed to be about, but a coworker said it's about how they get rescued. It should be good!

We mostly watched chopped and some of the home improvement shows. I used to like Grey's... but I like shows that are less "soap opera-y." I honestly don't have the attention span to keep up with that. Our favorite show is still "How I Met Your Mother" but I am getting tired even of that. Also, I love Deadliest Catch...

Hi Mariah and Tasha, glad you're back! I hope you're both feeling great and doing well. Biggrin

Tiffany - I know what you mean about shows being really involved. I can easily get wrapped up in a show, but without DVR, we rarely get to watch things when they air and we have a hard time making time for shows so it's easier to get into things that don't require as much attention. DH is huge on Deadliest Catch and I was surprised that I liked it too. We haven't watched the newest seasons but we always mean to. DH got really into Bearing Sea Gold which I thought was interesting but I always say to myself how I"m so glad that isn't DH's job.

You guys are killing me with the Grey's chatter! Lol I miss TV and internet! Thankfully we are moving soon and we'll get out.of this dead zone. I've been packing like crazy, and my hips and back are not at all pleased by this lol. I stupidly left only 10movies out for the children o.o Im sooo.sick of them already lol.

I've also been on the hunt.for a.new.ob team which.is proving more difficult without internet. I never realized how much I.use it until I didn't have.it!

I only like Chopped when Alex is on it. I can watch it, but I get tired of it easily. We watched Restaurant Impossible and Restaurant Stakeout all night- seeing as how I've worked in them for almost 8 years and Jason for 11, we love that stuff. Those servers they catch get off so easily- if I EVER got caught cussing remotely near a customer, much less TO one, I'd be unemployed on my *** so fast I wouldn't know what hit me. And yet they keep them! NO! I want to own a restaurant one day. It's my dream for me to run front of house and Jason do back. He's cooked all those years and kitchen management, I've worked my way up from bussing to asst manager on the frontline. He says I'm crazy for wanting to actually own one though.

Ashley, I switched OBs at 27 weeks with my DD and it was a nightmare. My original OB wasn't an option though- he was an OB that specialized in fertility disorders. I have endometriosis and he diagnosed me at 16, which is why I saw him. He gave me a 15% chance of ever getting pregnant without drugs and then got pissed when I got pregnant at 18 and told him the father was absolutely not around (he took off when I was 12 weeks, he's never met DD, and had his rights terminated by the state two years ago). He was a total jerk. Switching so late was so hard too though.

Chopped is a fun show! Like Holly, food shows always leave me hungry. Biggrin

Ashley - Being without the internet is such a pain, especially when you're trying to research things/get information on a new provider. I hope you can find something soon. That's stressful enough let alone having to pack/move on top of it.

DD hasn't been sleeping great lately and it's killing me. She took a long nap yesterday which was nice, but we were late putting her to bed (like she cared!) and I've been waking up a lot too. On a good night she's down by 8:30-9 and up around 7-8 (We want to move bed time back up to 8-8:30). Last night I left her room at 10:15 and she got up at 6 am. I've felt like garbage all morning (feeling sick though I'm not) and DS has been really low since yesterday so that's uncomfortable. I hate that the "third trimester" sickness has found me again already! Hopefully it will be gone tomorrow like last week (felt awful for a day then felt fine).

At least it's great weather for movies and warm cider!

Mia, I'm having that "super crap sick" feeling too. Like my belly is weighing me down when I move, constant low back ache, sooo tired. I could eat a mini-pack of PB crackers and feel like my belly is going to burst from eating too much (that's just the feeling).

I've been doing more research- I don't think I have GD. I could be very wrong and obviously my midwife thinks something is up as well, but I'm leaning towards hypothyroidism. Of course, alot of times those go hand in hand.

I wish for just ONE pregnancy, I could be one of those bouncy happy basketball-belly pregnant women who glow and enjoy it.

It feels like it's been a while since I've been on here...even though it's only been a few days! It feels like Saturday today because the kids are out of school for "fall break"...but they are already fighting and yelling at each other. UGH! I just wish they would be happy!

It has started to cool down here. I think it might have froze last night--good thing we covered our pumpkins in the garden! Hoping they turn orange soon so we can decorate!

This!! I always feel guilty when I think about how uncomfortable and complicated my pregnancies have been. I want easy, low key pregnancies for everyone and I always feel bad when I'm bogged down by how uneasy my pregnancies are.

Do you know how they'd test for hyperthyroidism? All I know is that thyroid stuff can be a real challenge, but hopefully you can get some answers soon. Will you have a GD tolerance test soon? Mine is Tuesday.

Yes, I have my glucola test tomorrow morning. When I go in and get my LabCorps paperwork, they're marking for me to have a tube drawn to test for thyroid problems, my glucose levels, and my hemoglobin level. I have no doubt in my mind that my iron is low, it usually is when I suspect it. I've dealt with chronic anemia for so long I know what to look for and can tell.

They're doing my test a few weeks early but I don't know how long it takes to get results? I've never failed it before so it never made a difference. I never worried about failing it either.

I was just wondering the same thing about how long the results take to get back, but I'd guess a week as that's how long most things seem to take? Chronic anemia does not sound fun, but at least you're aware of when you're levels get low so you can get on top of things.

It isn't as bad as some of the stuff ya'll deal with, that's for sure! Smile My normal midwife and my PCP are aware and they know I can tell so when I call and ask for my levels checked, they get me in pretty quick. I'm usually accurate and if I'm not, it's a different vitamin level I'm low on.

I ran out of prenatals the other day! Jason doesn't get paid until tomorrow so I have to wait and get them then. What kind do all of you take? When I say prenatals, I mean Flintstones. Seriously. I take 2 of them and then extra supplements because my weak stomach can't handle normal ones. But now I'm farther along and it shouldn't be as bad. Any suggestions?

Hey ladies, So i finally cut my abusive mother out of my life yesterday and today she called to tell me if i didn't stop "lying" about being abused she would take me to court for defamation of character. she is going insane ( for the millionth time) about me not wanting her controlling, vindictive, manipulating self in my life. please pray for us, our family needs the prayer. we cut her out so that we could escape this drama and now its only creating more! i'm so tired, why cant she simply leave me alone?

Lesli - I haven't watched the last couple of seasons of either show but I LOVE them both! Modern Family is such food for the soul and Parenthood is just phenomenal. I need to catch up!

Lisa - I'm sorry the kids are at each other's throats that has to be so draining.

Taylor - I took two flinstones all throughout DD's pregnancy and early in this one until i was able to get down larger pills (which I have to take for ICP) thanks to carbonated drinks. I just take generic prenatals from CVS. As long as I eat before I take them, they don't bother my stomach.

Mariah - I'm sorry you have to go through that, but a lot of abusers just don't see it the same way (or deny it as a way to say "I'm fine I don't need help you do"). I'd just keep record of things (e-mails, texts etc) and ignore it. If you have to, change your number and file a restraining order. Not that anyone ever wants to have to do that, but if she can't respect your wishes then what else can you do? Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, I can't imagine how difficult that decision was, let alone the stress of the threats.

I am starting to think DD's sleep issues lately are still her teething. I swear it can take her a month to cut a molar and she's been awful without ibprofen or tylenol most nights/naps. She's also asking for different food every half an hour no matter what she has. So hoping this passes. Been having a ton of pressure and BH ctx tonight but I'm keeping my faith in my negative Ffn test last week. Thankfully DH will be home in an hour or so and can help with DD and the ctx are slowing down when I get a chance to sit down so I'm not too worried.

Mia - awww are you planning to take your LO to the dentist maybe they can give her somehhing stronger!
AFM- my body is achy!!! Oh my lord especially after work ! Its like im being kicked in the back constantly! I love being pregnant but im starting to get the aches and pains Sad

Mariah - it would be very difficult for her to win any court battle along those lines... and hard for her to find a lawyer to represent her. Your mommy instincts will get even stronger to protect your child once he is born. She has no rights to be anywhere near your baby or you, if you do not wish her to be.

Taylor - I take Flinstones for my supplement as well, and some plant derived DHA. And some vitamin D. And I need to start taking some magnesium to see if it will help with the leg cramps.

Lisa - hope it gets better with the kids. As a mom of 1 (not intentionally) we have never had to deal with that. Today DH stayed behind at preschool to observe Luke. He was building a puzzle with his friend when his friend did something he did not like - he went straight to the teacher. Such a tattle tale! Of course, his friend usually just retaliates doing something he shouldn't like hitting or whatever. But they are only 3. So funny. I am not sure how I feel about my son being a whiny tattler. Smile

Mia - I am sorry you are dealing with sleeping issues. My son has been climbing into bed with us late at night and now that I am huge, there is just no room for all of us. He has a super comfy twin bed, so I move in there... but then he follows. DRIVES ME NUTS!!! Tonight he is sleeping over at grandma and grandpa's... so hopefully will get some sleep, but my back and belly are hurting around the clock already.

Mariah- if you are fully committed to cutting her entirely, you need to black hole every thing she says/you hear she says. Change your numbers. Do NOT let her meet/develop a relationship with your son if you live in a state with grandparent rights (most ridiculous crap ever). Black hole everything. If you really need it, go to babycenter boards and find the Dealing With the Inlaws/FOO (family of origin). They won't mince words but they'll tell you what to do and how to cut her off successfully.

Thanks ladies, she is making it worse by running around telling the family that i am a liar and not to believe me. She even either forced my little sister to tell me to stop of she wouldnt talk to me anymore or went on and posted it for her. I just wish she would go away........why cant i just tell the truth without a huge fuss being made? anywho thats enough of that right now. I have my appointment today for sugar testing! so not excited to have to wait to eat! but my hubby is being quite supportive of everything going on and i made yumy brownies last night. my LO is also moving and kicking all the time now! and hurting my ribs but its all good, he just better be super duper cute! lol

Mia- im sorry your having troubles with your LO's sleeping. i hope all gets better, it sounds like teething at your house stinks!

Taylor- i have never had Flintstones. but i have been taking the giant horse pills the whole time. i just had to get a new bottle the other day. but my doctor told me last visit that i may have to start on an iron supplement soon cuz im showing a tiny bit anemic. I have my Glucola appointment today too! good luck with yours!

Mariah - I'm sorry she's going around trying to get your other family members involved. Hopefully they can be mature enough to know she's just trying to stir the pot and won't let it come between your own relationships with them. I hope the test wasn't too bad for you! I know some people really hate the glucose drink.

Last night I got some sleep which was amazing. DD was so tired she didn't fight DH at all so that was nice. She is napping now which is a god send. It's so hard not to just want to plow through the house and clean like crazy but I know I can't push it or I'll end up in l&d for more monitoring. i've been having some cervix pains again but I had that with DD too so unless something comes up I'm not putting much stock in it. The last of the town fairs in our state is this weekend and I so want to make the trip. We're pretty tight on money so I'm not sure if we can swing it, but if we do I just want to get some fried dough (can't resist, it's the only time I eat it) and get DD a ride around the horse ring if she wants (we have a farm up the road and by family's houses and she's become obsessed). DH doesn't get the holiday off, but they work it so they can have Black Friday which just makes life easier overall. I'm just glad he doesn't have to work tomorrow (as far as we know).

What's everyone else up to this weekend?

Tasha - congrats on the glucose monitoring test success!!!

Mariah - I agree with making sure to avoid her completely at whatever cost. If your family did not rescue you when you were going through all that, there must be a lot of denial and I wouldn't put much stock in them now. If that means you need to take a break from Facebook, as difficult as that would be, then so be it. I know it is hard to make it on your own at your age and these are big decisions. You are going to have to create your own family of support.

I am not working this weekend, but next weekend is going to be my probably 1 weekend from hell before the babies come. I am actually really looking forward to it - just so I can get it over with.

This weekend my husband is running a 10 mile race an hour and a half away. Soccer practice today. Might do a little shopping. DS desperately needs a winter coat. DH wants to buy me one, but that seems wasteful - given that I am huge... and hopefully won't be forever.

Tiffany, Old Navy has those fleece coats for $15 today.

Tasha- YES. It's so freakin stupid and it varies by state and judge. If there is a pre-existing relationship between the child and the GP and the GP can somehow prove that a cut-off determined by the parent will be detrimental to the child (as in, it will directly have an emotionally negative impact if the child no longer sees the grandparent), visitation can be awarded similar to a non-custodial parent's visitation.
Isn't that the most ridiculous BS you've ever heard of? If the parent obviously deemed GP unfit to be around the kids for whatever reason, that is their RIGHT AS THE PARENT. I hate states with it. Texas has it. If I ever told my mom that I would never let her see my DD again, she could sue me for GP rights and she would win because I lived with her for 3 years when Ali was born. There is a long term relationship between them that's continued.

It's 50 degrees here! And the high is 56 tomorrow. Ugh. I wasn't prepared. Brandon just went through a major growth spurt and I found out the other day he has literally outgrown EVERY. SINGLE. PAIR. OF. PANTS. he owns. He has shorts that fit because it's the length! But no pants! And no shirts. Even some 4T pants aren't long enough- what do I do? 5T won't fit around the waist.

And he's not even THREE.

Taylor - well at least you don't have to worry about your kid being too short later. Luke is definitely short for his age, and neither hubby nor I are...

I will check out fleece from Old Navy, but I am wearing one of DH's fleece jackets right now and we had flurries and I was COLD. Even with a hat on. I am in middle Minnesota and I don't see getting through this winter with a fleece jacket.

As for grandparental rights.. I am sure there are situations where parents do a horrible job (abuse/neglect) and it may be in the kids best interests for the grandparents to have rights. I think that should be handled on a situation by situation basis... of course, if it is really that terrible the courts need to terminate the parents rights in the first place.

Anyway, there is APPARENTLY a maternity outlet not too far from here. WHAT!?! We are headed out!

Taylor - The GP laws do sound a bit crazy unless it's a case of parental abuse/neglect as Tiffany mentioned. I love when ON has sales like that! DD has always been tall but that has to be so hard with nothing fitting him. Our area's largest (and best quality wise) semi annual consignment event is next weekend and I"m hoping to get DS a bunch of stuff there. We have hardly any clothes for him. DD could use some more l/s shirts and warm pants but she's skinny so without cloth diapers things just fall right off her.

Tiffany - It's so hard to spend money on something you don't get to wear long, but I am sure a MN winter makes a true winter jacket a worthy purchase. I hope you were able to find one (or some other goodies) at the maternity outlet.

Today we went to a dam and walked around a bit and took DD to an awesome playground we've just never got around to visiting yet which was fun. We had a bunch of time to kill before going to our besties place to get my hair done (she's a hairdresser). It was beautiful out and so nice to spend so much time outside and let DD run wild. Our lawn needs to be mowed so bad and it rained all week so we barely went out.

I'm sure abuse/neglect cases are WHY the GP rights law was established. But it's very, very often abused as a control method by grandparents who are just pissed that they got cut off for reasons they deem ridiculous. Go check out the Dealing With the Inlaws board on BBC, it's full of crazy stories of grandparents just like that.

We're going to my MILs for my SIL's birthday today. It'll be nice to just get out of the house. But Jason and I had a massive argument this morning and now I'm in a weird mood and don't really feel like going. I have to though, Brandon is so excited to see "Ganma".

The pumpkin patch sounds fun Holly, I hope you stay warm and have an awesome time.

Taylor - I totally believe there are whack jobs for Gparents out there that totally abuse the GP laws, sad stuff. I"m sorry about the argument and the mood. I hope the party lets you get out of your funk and helps things cool down so you won't have an awkward evening.

We aren't doing much today. Once I (hopefully) get DD down for a nap in a little bit, I plan to try and get some writing done, clean out my car and maybe work on my office which is always a mess while DH mows the lawn. I did good with groceries this week but it took way longer then I wanted it to.

I start an 11 day stretch of working starting tomorrow. The weekends will be especially busy. Hopefully all will go well. In the middle of it I have 2 doc appts.. should be an ultrasound in in 8 days or so to see how my cervix is holding up with the twins pregnancy. I am definitely relieved as they start to get bigger and enter a more viable stage. I was really nervous around 22 weeks about preterm labor. As they get bigger those worries are starting to go away which is nice.

Headed over to my in-laws for dinner tonight. It is really nice going over there, because they are so good with DS and it is pretty laid back. Before we had kids I would get bored out of my skull going there, but things change. Now, I am happy for a few bored out of my skull moments.

We had a great time although it was a bit chilly. Lauryn refused to pick out a big pumpkin though. She wanted a "little" one, so I grabbed one for her. I know she'd be heartbroken when the time came to carve them if she didn't have one.

Tiffany, hopefully the next 11 days will go smoothly! And hopefully your cervix is holding up well.

My 4D u/s is on Wednesday and I'm so excited! I cannot wait to see this LO again. Our gender reveal party is this weekend, so that should be a lot of fun too!

Holly--the pumpkin patch sounds like fun! DS got to go to a pumpkin patch for a field trip and pick out a small pumpkin to bring home...he was a bit bummed that he didn't get to choose a big one. Oh well! I can't wait to see pics from your u/s!

Taylor--How was the party?

We had a busy weekend here. I spent all day Saturday cleaning...or most of it. We went thru all of Jenna's clothes and put some in boxes and put the others away in an orderly fashion. She had too many to take care of (for her) and I was tired of the mess. Yesterday we went and hung out with DHs family. It was nice and relaxing.
I haven't been feeling very well in the mornings lately. My tummy feels yucky and the heartburn kicks in a few hours after I get up. This is going to get old in a hurry! Hopefully my tummy at least feels better soon!

Taylor - I hope you had a good time at the party and that your week is off to a good start.

Lisa - I hope you get some relief from the stomach ache and heartburn soon.

Tasha - I think all of us are getting tired easily at this point. I swear the last stretch of pregnancy (and all it's annoying symptoms) creep up on you so quickly!

Last night DH and I were talking about how freaking close we are to having this baby. It hit home yesterday when I realized my appointments should be going to bi-weekly at this point. The last trimester goes so quickly and we haven't had the cash to stock up on things as early as we'd have liked. DH was getting worried about it but I was reassuring him that there isn't that much we need for him right away, and that I should be able to get some good deals at the consignment event on Saturday. Hoping my appointment today goes smoothly though I don't see why it wouldn't. Poor DH and DD both have a cold so no one's sleeping but I oddly feel rested.

Mia, hope your appointment goes well today! I can't believe you're nearly 28 weeks already!?! Time is definately flying, and you're right. Once those bi-weekly appointments start the last tri goes so fast.

Lisa, I hope you feel better soon. The HB has started here too. I forgot how uncomfortable it is. We're getting close to the home stretch, so there's relief in sight soon!

We've bought a few things. We finally bought a pack of bottles, a box of nb diapers, a pacifer, and a couple of outfits. I have a tote full of yellow outfits and jammies, so baby can use those for the first few months. It'll be cold, so really sleepers work well anyway. The only big thing we still need is a stroller, and we're working on saving for that right now. I'm also contemplating buying a few cans of formula to have on hand. I just worry that LO will have a sensitive stomach and the formula will go to waste. Normally at this point I'm freaking out about getting a nursery done and everything, and this time around I'm so laid back about it. We know the baby will be in our room for the first 4-6 months, and we're not sure which room to put LO in yet when s/he moves, so I'm in no rush. I've found a cute bedding set, but if we don't get it, I won't be bummed. I know that the first year all they use from the set is the sheet anyway. I dunno....I just feel more laidback this time around, like we'll get things together as we need them. I've got the necessities lined up, so we're good for that. The rest will fall into place. If you ask me again in a few more weeks, I may be freaking out a bit Wink

This!!! I am just like you. Last time I think we had the nursery all ready by this point. As of right now, I haven't done a darn thing to prep for this baby. We have all the necessary stuff already from DD, and all of our newborn clothes are gender neutral already because last time we didn't know the sex either. The only thing I have bought for this baby is a snowsuit because the infant one we had was size 9 month (DD was a June baby so she was 6 months old before we had to use it) and even that I just bought today. We just had a new carters/oshgosh store open in my city last week and today was the first day I ventured out. OMG I think if I have another girl I am serisouly going to be broke. Their girls clothes are just adorable! The only reason I went shopping was because I had a appt. with my OB this a.m. and the store is right by her office so I took advantage of being able to "be free from bedrest for an hour" hehe...don't tell my DH! Anyway I go for another u/s this afternoon to check on the placenta abruption and to check my cervix again. She said depending on what the u/s shows I might be able to go off bedrest, thank goodness! (crossess fingers) I'll keep you all posted as to what the u/s says.

It was okay. They made sure and had balloons so Brandon would be occupied and my SIL let him help open her presents, where he was very distressed for her that she didn't get any toys. I didn't even realize he knew toys were the objective for presents. I'm screwed for Christmas, lol.

I haven't bought anything because I'm waiting to see if my unemployment goes through. At this rate, I'm on week 7-8 of requesting payment without having received one so if I get approved, I'm getting 70% in a lump sum (it's not alot of maximum benefits). I was only approved for an amount that divides into 11 weeks worth! I did finally get an email saying to call some lady by the 16th or they'd make a decision on what they had so I'm calling her today. I don't trust my last employer from Texas, they're conniving and horrible.

I'm not holding breath for the money. But I'm waiting to hear an actual deadset approval/denial. The amount I can get based on my income they're using is enough for winter clothes for everyone (if I shop super smart) AND everything I need for this baby with a little bit for Christmas. I have lists on Amazon and Old Navy if it goes through, lol.
