Thank you!!! I sure hope so. I think I've convinced DH to do a gender reveal party, but we are going to find out together tonight. I'm going to have the tech write it down. Then I'm going to pick out something blue and something pink and ask the cashier to put the correct one in the bag before I pay.

If we do a gender reveal party, I've found the cutest owl themed things on Pinterest. I hope he really means it!!

I love gender reveals! I don't have the willpower myself but they're so cute! I wish I had the willpower to go all 9 months not knowing but I can't even get Jason to discuss names until we know.

I think you're having a girl Holly- are you going to tell us? Or make us wait? On my last board, I knew my induction date but the only one I told was my birth buddy (also my closest friend on the board and still a close friend now). I brought my laptop with me to the hospital so keep it going because I was induced with Cervadil the night before and she wasn't supposed to announce it til the next day. It was so hard! I KNEW I wouldn't be pregnant after 39 weeks and my mom and sister flew up here and I couldn't say anything as it would give me away. It was alot of fun though.

On another note, because I'm a SAHM now and I haven't fixed Brandon's sleep schedule yet (he was on my third shift schedule so I could get sleep) I have 4-5 hours in the morning where NO ONE is awake and it's so awesome. So Jason got me Sims 3 and ALL the expansion packs. That game is like crack, if you've never played it. It's like playing dollhouse/house as an adult!

Does anyone else ever play this?

Holly that's awesome that DH is more open to the party. I LOVE owl themed stuff, especially for kids!

Taylor - That's awesome that you get some solid down time! That's such a precious thing especially as a SAHM. I haven't personally played the sims games in a long time, but my brother loves them and restricts himself to school vacations (he's a teacher). It's nice to have something you can just do mindlessly to pass the time.

When I was a nanny I remember that getting up at 6 and having my cup of coffee and reading a book in complete silence was my favorite part of the day.the baby would get up between 7:30 and 8 and the 3 year old would be up around 9:30 like clockwork each day. So I knew if i didn't get my hour and a half to two hours each morning I wouldn't get a break until 8:30 or 9:30 that night. I'm going to put my kids on that schedule if I can because it helped the baby sleep all night. Even at 6 months old. But I'm definately going to make sure I get at least and hour of peace and me time in the morning.

Holly--I can't wait to find out what you are having! So glad your DH is open to the gender reveal party--sounds like fun to me!

Taylor--Glad you get some down time--that's the best!

I am avoiding cleaning my house today. I just.don't.want.to.do.it. I have been hanging out with the 2 little girls doing whatever today...and looking for baby names. I don't know if I told you all, but when I had my u/s, the baby kept it's legs closed the whole time. The u/s tech said she thought girl, so that's what we've told people, but I'm not so convinced...so we are still looking for boy and girl names. I don't know why it is so hard this time!

What do you think of the name Drew for a girl?

First real day of work was yesterday. It is kind of awkward after 3 months off and a new computer system, but I know I will get the hang of it eventually. I am always thinking of stuff to do when I get home... i.e. wish I had done this, or asked that...

Still have a few days of orientation left. Next week I start seeing patients in the hospital which will be crazy. I am kind of excited to get things started, however. And nervous. Also, even walking around the hospital is getting more difficult - so this is a crazy time in my life to start a job - but honestly, things only get busier from here.

    Doctors appt Tuesday.

Lisa - just noticed you have a boy named Hayden. We are probably going with that for Twin A. I think Drew is fine for a girl's name though I have known more boys with that name.

Hope you guys have a good day. It is 6:15. I need to get dressed and head out for the day.

Drew for a girl makes me think of Jessica Simpson naming her baby girl Maxwell. I have a brother named Drew (not Andrew, just Drew) so I'm biased to thinking it's too boy. But I really love naming girls boy names although it irritated me SO much when naming Brandon because ALL the boy names were suddenly "too girly" because of the trend. My favorite is Ryan for a girl.

My sister's childhood friend just found out she's having a boy. I say childhood but I've known the girl since she was born too, she's just my sister's age. So now my sister TOLD me to send all my boy stuff to her. Umm. .what? No. I will send her a few things IF she wants them and all I even have are clothes. If she just found out the sex then she's due the month I am- WHY would I give her anything else?? And I'm sorry but shipping large amounts from TN to TX is insanely expensive here. So unless one of them is paying for me, it's not going to happen at all. But who does that? I don't think the girl put my sister up to it. . it sounds like Macy's doing.
