How awesome for a good appointment Tiffany! What a relief it must be that your cervix is "behaving" and how cute of the twins. I hope that the water and taking it easy when possible will keep any sort of preterm labor at bay. Sounds like you have an awesome support system in place which is such a huge thing!
Tiffany--glad things are looking well! Hopefully things will continue to go well for you--good luck with your appt next week! KUP
AFM I had a lazy day today...it was SO nice! I played with the little girls and read an entire book...all before the big kids got home from school! It was so great!
Thank you for all the kind words and wishes.
Mia - I am so spoiled when it comes to labs, since my clinic is attached to the hospital we get our results very quickly in general. I am sorry you are still suffering with itching this pregnancy.
Taylor - glad you found a solution for your cat.

Does anyone look at their ticker or calender and think, We technically only have 3-4 months left? I'll be induced in the first half of January provided all goes well so I have about almost 3.5 months. I haven't bought anything. Haven't prepared. I've taken one belly shot this entire time. Where did all my time go? How am I almost six months pregnant?
I'm showing, no doubt. But my belly hasn't really "rounded" out. It's 50 degrees here today and I have ZERO maternity clothes for this weather. Old Navy is having their maternity sale and I definitely need to order a few things. But really, I'm not in maternity yet. If I can get some decent long camis, I can probably go another 1-2 months without them. I have maternity jeans, new ones that are REALLY cute with a skinny leg so I can wear winter boots with them, but I can still wear my pre-pregnancy jeans and need a belt with them.
What I really want are new shoes, lol. My MIL is the manager of Payless in town and gets 30% off. They have these Airwalk slipper shoes that I wore the entire winter with DS and they're amazing. They have fur inside, they slip on, and they're really warm. I want a few more colors because the tan ones I have are awful now. And they have new Ugg-style boots that the top unbuttons so you can wrap your jeans inside and that'll be helpful when I'm too big to actually shove my entire foot into a tall boot.
It is incredible how fast the time is going by. I was having a rough time this weekend (contractions off and on, headaches, not sleeping, couldn't get up on my own easily and TONS of back pain to where I couldn't turn myself in bed) and I thought to myself "I've only got 12.5 weeks left until induction". That's insane to me. I will definatly be looking into those Airwalks! I hate what pregnancy can do to your feet.
Tomorrow I am hoping to get some answers for my OB's office. At the end of August I found out that my insurance is applying some of my H17 shots to the deductible ($25 a pop) so I paid it the next visit and have been doing $25 a week since. These were preauth's but I've never had that take more then 1-3 days to process so I didn't bother checking it. Apparently they haven't been going through but when they called to remind me of my appointment this week they only quoted $50 so I'm going to make sure this all won't pull at once. I'm not preauthing anything else until I know they won't just wait until it's at $500 and pull it all.
Ugh, insurance and deductibles get crazy! I'm glad I got pregnant again within this year because with my tubal in January, it definitely killed my deductible quickly with all the shots and ER visits. So, this pregnancy.. I've just been paying what I can, when I can. I have a balance there, but it hasn't gone up for like 2 months.. maybe this pregnancy will be free!! ....
I agree Jessica! I too try to just take it one day at a time and not stress. I do think of the expenses as one less thing to pay for when little man makes his arrival. We didn't have much left in deductibles when DD came, but less is better. I also try to remind myself how much it would cost if we didn't have insurance at all. I know not all are lucky enough to have a good plan as we do.
Anyone have a favorite store to shop for dressy maternity wear? I have a wedding to go to next Friday and I've been a bit underwhelmed by the ON selection I've seen despite the current sale. I saw some stuff on Motherhood's site that looked good but the closest one to me is an hour away.
Yeah, I don't even want to think about the expenses with this pregnancy. Hell, we started by spending $5k on IVF...
The thing is that there are only so many times in your life when you have to deal with it. And it is so worth it in the end.
We have 2 outfits for newborns, and a few old outfits from DS. That is it. No crib. No carseats. No swings. No bottles. Nothing. I guess it doesn't stress me out too much. The babies could each sleep in a laundry basket when they get home on a towel if we needed them to. Car seats are a must just to get home.
I have ordered stuff from Motherhood. You can always return it when you are "in town" if it doesn't work. I am pretty happy with what I have gotten there. Target might have some decent stuff, too.
