Tasha I'm glad you had such a good time and are getting pumped for your own shower! Baby showers are so much fun. Ours was great and I love attending them. :)
Anyone else in complete shock that Thanksgiving (US) is a WEEK from Thursday?!?!? Where on earth is November disappearing to? We went and tagged our Christmas tree for the year yesterday. It's just a farm my in-laws have gone to for years and years. I didn't have the space for a real tree for years so it's nice having the tradition back in action. We normally don't do things for the holidays this early but it worked out well this year. As much as I'm a procrastinator at heart, I'm starting to like the idea of doing (or at least planning out) our holiday prep/shopping early!

Mia yes im soo excited about having food!!!!! I loveeeeeee food !!! Lol i plan on getting my tree week after next

Mia--Good luck at your appointment today--hope everything is okay and that baby bakes a bit longer!
Tiffany--Hopefully you will be able to take it a bit "easier" from here on out!
Tasha--When is your shower? They are fun!
I cannot believe Thanksgiving is creeping up on us so quickly! DH and I are actually planning on going Christmas shopping tomorrow and hopefully we can get some good ideas for the kids. I honestly want the shopping done soon so I don't have it hanging in the back of my mind to get it done.
We got the dresser I've been working on moved into the girls room this morning, but their room is a disaster for now! I have NO desire to go down and work on it though...and DH told them they have to clean their room today, so I might just wait...
I woke up with my throat kinda sore this morning, and I think I have drainage...I HATE being sick while pregnant. Hopefully it will be short-lived...

Lisa my shower is on Saturday ! Im soo excited!! I hope your not getting sick ! Im sick now and this crap sucks

Was having contractions every 4-5 minutes overnight. So, ended up at L&D. Fetal fibronectin test is negative (good indicator that labor is not imminent). Going to schedule a cervical length test later this week. Taking the morning off (its my half day anyway) to rest after being up all night. I am exhausted. Got some McDonads comfort food on the way home from the hospital. Hoping to sleep while DS goes to preschool. I hate to send him, but I need some sleep. Can't wait to make it to 34-35 weeks when I can ignore the contractions and just let labor happen if it will. 5 more weeks to go!
Might do some internet Christmas shopping and send DH out to get the stuff we need for Thanksgiving.

((HUGS)) TIffany! It is so exhausting being on observation in the hospital but how awesome that your Ffn came back negative! Those tests are hard in that all a positive means is that they don't know but a negative is great. I hope the cervical length check goes well.
I'm seeing some family for dinner tonight. The vehicle stuff is stressing me out big time but I'm going to try to not think about it at dinner and pray DD does well. She's been teething hard but it's only tough at nap/bed time.

Tiffany hope your able to keep those babies baking a little longer. Keep us posted on your cervical length check!
Lisa hope you are feeling better! I know you said that your kids had been sick for a long time too..You need to get rid of all those germies!
Tasha have a great time at your shower and be sure to share pictures!!!!
Mia my DD is getting her 2 year molars as well... and it's effecting her sleep big time! I just hope we can get back on track in the sleep department before the new baby comes!
AFM- Last week was so exhasting. DD was in the hospital for 3 nights due to cellulitis in her face. We got NO sleep... the nurses would come in at 10pm, 2am and 6am to check her vitals and put up a new bag of IV antibiotics and getting her back to sleep after each wake up was a challenge. It took us a few days after being home to get caught up on sleep. This past weekend DH painted the baby's room and got the crib set up. We just have to buy a new dresser for DD as she has the one that matches the crib, so we will swap.. then the room will be all ready for baby! We painted it a aqua color.. I didn't really want yellow or green, so I though aqua woould be a nice cheerful neutral color.

One of the interns I trained is going to do maternal fetal medicine and poor thing happened to text me to see how the pregnancy is going. Oh well, I bombarded him with texts for about an hour. But his answers helped me relax. I had to reschedule my patients today and tomorrow (which makes me sad), but it is so I can take care of myself. I know if my cervical length test comes back ok, I will be back at it like usual. I hate, hate, hate my ob's nurse. But I love the nurses at L&D. P.S. My own nurse is a peach and all my patients love her. If anything I am the crabby one.
Amanda - I am so glad your daughter is doing better. Facial cellulitis is so scary! Hope she does sleep better for you. Aqua is awesome!
Mia - Hope things work out ok with the car situation. That would stress me out big time as well. It figures that the best time to have kids in our lives is when we are the poorest (or you end up like me having to get interventions...), but it makes everything so stressful. I hope you find a way to find some peace in the chaos.
Tasha - I hope you get lots of fabulous stuff at your shower!!
I am enjoying an impromptu day off after sleeping until past noon.

Tiffany, sorry that you ended up in L&D. Hopefully those little boys will stay in there a bit longer and continue to bake :)
Tasha, how exciting for your shower! I can't wait to hear all about it!
Amanda, glad to hear that Hailey is doing better! And how fun to have the room painted.
AFM, we've been super busy lately. Our cat had kittens on Friday. It's like having a newborn in the house! Every 2 hour I hear little meows....and of course she had them under the bed on my side. They are adorable though! We will keep one, but the rest will have to go. I was in denial that she was pregnant :(
