No, but I am glad my mother in law is going to do all of that Thanksgiving stuff. We are going to bring a ham and some sides, but we are keeping the mess at her house and she is being hugely gracious about the whole thing!!

I was just thinking how quickly these months have been flying by! I cannot believe the holidays are literally just around the corner! And then we will all have little babies to love on!
I think we will be spending Thanksgiving with the in-laws as well. It will be fun to see everyone!
I too am glad that I am not the one putting on Thanksgiving. My in-laws do it (they love it). We just provide the turkey. DH always gets one from work (a HUGE farm fresh turkey) that's a big hit. I am always excited for T-Day meals. We also spend some time at my family's and do something small as it's not as many people there. It's always a lot of food but that's the best part.
ETA: Forgot to say that Tasha that is so exciting about your shower!!
I, too, cannot believe Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away. Lauryn's birthday is the week after. I can't believe the holiday season is upon us, but am excited because we're that much closer to having our babiesI cannot wait!
It's crazy how fast time is flying!!!
DD got bitten on her face by something yesterday and now today her whole face is swollen and her eye is swollen shut. I brought her into urgent care this morning and they ended up admitting her to hospital for a few days to get IV antibiotics. The bite turned into cellulitus.Poor thing.. it looks like she got beat up. But at least she is in good spirits and is showing no signs of being "sick". Getting the IV into her arm wasn't very fun though.. had to poke her 5 times before they got it. My poor girl. And this is one tired momma!! Hopefully we will get some sleep tonight while in the hospital.
Holly - How fun about Lauryn's birthday coming up! You're right, it's getting way too close to when we'll be having these babies.
Amanda - How awful.DD had to get an IV back in May for fluids when she got dehydrated from the stomach flu and it was torture. I'm glad your DD is in good spirits and on the road to recovery. I hope she's able to come home soon so you all can have some r&r.
DH is working today but it's so that he can have Christmas Eve off. They'll work another Saturday to get New Years Eve off too. They're only doing it because most job sites they'd be on won't even be open for a day and there wouldn't be any work for them to do at the shop (as they're field guys) so it's worth it. I know that with a newborn and a very high spirited toddler, I will be thrilled to have DH home for four days/work three days for two weeks straight without it effecting pay.
Amanda - You guys have had a really crazy last few months. Hoping for a speedy recovery for her. Keep us posted.
Tasha - Yay! Showers are so much fun. Hope yours is everything you wanted it to be.
Mia - Agree with you.. makes sense to pay ahead in this case.
I have my big call weekend next weekend; it is my last one until after I come back from having the babies. It is really getting physically difficult to do that - being 36.5 lbs up from my pre-pregnancy weight. We are in unchartered territory here. Last night sleep was nearly impossible due to discomfort. My family will be in town for almost a week around thanksgiving and I need to do some meal planning (ok, I don't need to... but I need to plan something fun just to get through the 12 days straight of work coming up starting Monday). God knows I can't shop anymore. I need a Hover Round.
P.S. Anyone into casseroles and crock pot meals? Have we talked about this before? I can't remember...
