We will do Halloween...as long as the kids are better. We're still kinda battling the flu, but we are at the end (at least I hope so). There is a trunk-or-treat at our church, and we live in the country, so we will go to that, and maybe a few houses, but then we will just come home. I don't feel up to a big night of being out and about...esp since DH has to work until 8.
Lisa, I hope your LOs get to feeling better soon! We had a touch of the flu here this past weekend, but luckily only Cam had it. I'm dealing with an upper respitory infection going on right now, so I started a z-pac this afternoon. I'm hoping for some relief soon.
Hope everyone has a great Halloween regardless of what you're doing!
Lisa - I hope that things go smoothly for you tonight and that the kids truly are seeing the end of their illness.
Holly - Good thing you're getting on top of that cold. As much as I'm not a fan of medicating things unless I have to, I am always a little dismayed by what I can't take during pregnancy.
AFM - We didn't go trick-or-treating as it was such a crazy couple of days but DD was fine with relaxing around the house, watching some halloween shows and wearing her costume. I did a phone interview with a woman we are thinking of using for a babysitter during all my NST appointments that start up in two weeks. She has great experience and seems very nice but despite my noting our hours/days/weeks for watching DD, she mentioned she's looking for long term and ideally a few days a week. I just reiterated what the listing was (through a site that matches care providers and clients) and figure we can talk more when she comes to visit later this week. I'm just ready to find something that will work for us and fit our budget!
Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all had a great day!
Holly--I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, but glad you got some meds to help! Hope you feel better quickly!
Mia--I'm glad your DD was good with just hanging out today! I like the more laid back holidays! I hope you are able to find someone to take care of your DD soon! GL!
AFM--I told DH that we had a grumpy day today...ugh! I think I am completely worn out from all the sick kids and whining and everyone else being grumpy...and I'm not feeling great either. Once we finally established that everyone had to help out a little bit and that everyone needed to be happy, then we had a good time. The kids ended up doing well today--they all went to school, and we went to the trunk-or-treat and went to 4 houses to trick-or-treat. It was fun, the kids had fun, but by the time we came home, I think everyone (except the older kids) were ready to come home. I hope we can turn the week into a happier week...starting tomorrow. ;)
Hope you all feel better soon. Getting an upper respiratory infection in your third trimester is the WORST!!
We've had a chill out, don't do much of anything day today. It has been SOOO nice!
Did you all survive Halloween???
