    Yay Holly! I knew it!

I feel like this baby has dropped. I mean, I know she hasn't, it's far too early. But I have SO much pressure and feeling like my belly is actually weighing me down.

Is it weird that I only feel kicks very, very low still? Like pelvic bone and bladder/cervix kicks. Nothing even near my belly button or higher.

Taylor I started felling mostly lower movements when baby turned breech. I am feeling him higher up now, but for the first few days all I felt was lower movements and that's where I feel him most. Maybe baby's limbs are facing downward?

I was happy to get my dentist's office to get me in for another evaluation (and perhaps fix in one visit) on Friday instead of next week. Some minor cavities we discovered in May that have been totally manageable are getting intolerable. My dentist was fine in waiting until after DS was born to do anything as long as I was comfortable and things stayed minor to avoid the potential risk to the baby. I'm kind of kicking myself for not insisting they were filled in August but I can't go back. Having some pretty annoying cramps/contractions for the past hour and a half or so. I haven't eaten or drank as much as normal because I've felt sick so I'm upping my fluids and resting in hopes I can avoid a l&d visit. I was born at 28 weeks (measured 26) so even though it's not a genetic thing, having PTL risks I always get nervous in this timeframe.

Lisa - I wish I had the energy for a project like that. We definitely need some furniture for the twins room, and I have been moving slowly on that. Now that they are viable-ish, I am starting to get more comfortable with the idea of buying furniture.

Mia - I have been having cramps all afternoon also. So, now I am sitting in a lazy boy... drinking liquids...

So she's probably breech right now? Do they do an ultrasound at a certain time to see if the baby if breech or not? Or can they tell otherwise?

With DD, she was breech the entire time and then flipped at 37 weeks when I started dilating. I walked around at 3 cms until the day I delivered her at 39.4 weeks. That was SO uncomfortable.

With DS, I had an ultrasound basically every week due to pre-eclampsia and fluid checks and weight gain, where they made sure he wasn't growing too big to deliver. I know if I hadn't had other problems, I would never have had so many.

DD was EIGHT years ago. I don't remember hardly anything. I know this baby has plenty of time to get in the right place, I'm just curious. How do they know and when do they determine a c-section is necessary due to breech? I've always had crappy pregnancies and easy deliveries- like insane jealousy-inducing easy deliveries. Regardless of my previous problems this time and the hypothyroidism, this pregnancy has been way too easy and it makes me superstitious.

I don't think babies typically turn until 36-37 weeks, but I could be wrong. I think I read in WTEWE that babies are most active between 24-28 weeks because they're still small enough to move all over. I never worry about it since I'm a scheduled c/s, but if she is breech that could explain the lower movement. Reagan was laying sideways at my last u/s. It explains why I feel like I'm always getting jabbed in my left side. I stil occassionally get kicks to the bladder, so I know she's still moving around pretty easily in there.

They may do an u/s later on to check, but I think that they're able to tell by touch too. Sorry I'm not much help!

*yawn* DD has had me up at LEAST 5 times through the night that last few nights. I'm not sure if she's getting her 2 year molars or what's going on, but this momma is TIRED! All I keep thinking about is what is it going to be like when baby comes? Up at 1 for a feeding then at 2 awake with DD, then 3 a feeding, 4 awake with DD etc.... when is momma gonna get to sleep?? Hopefully this no sleep business will pass soon!

Taylor - I know what you mean about the all too easy deliveries for hard pregnancy. As you said, I'm not worried about it at the movement but the breech thing does sort of stick in my mind as I don't want him to get too comfortable. My MW could tell by feeling him, but confirmed his position with the doppler as his heart rate was easiest to find up by my ribs. If your little lady is breech I hope she flips soon for you so you're more comfortable. I've heard of them flipping and all different stages. I have heard they don't worry about a c/s until the full term range, but even then they'll do a u/s right before to be sure the baby is still breech.

Tiffany - I'm sorry about the cramps, I hope that relaxing helped them to go away for you!

Holly - It's always good to hear about them flipping on their own, especially when your body starts the labor process.

Tasha - Way to grow little guy! It's amazing how big these LOs are getting.

Amanda - I hope she makes up for the waking up all night with a good nap or better sleep tonight!

AFM - *Warning it's a little long* I did end up having to go into l&d. The cramps were pretty moderate/intense and just got worse as contractions came on. I sat in triage forever, the on call OB (who I really like) tried to do a Ffn but the speculum touched my cervix just the wrong way making it bleed so that was out but I am still just 50% effaced and really posterior thankfully. They gave me nifedipine to try and stop the contractions so I could go home but it just spaced them out and weakened them a little so I was kept overnight to be on the safe side, given more nifedipine and morphine which eventually knocked out the contractions and cramps. My first nurse is one of my favorites at l&d at my overnight and day nurses were great too. I didn't really get any sleep at the hospital and for some reason anything I was eating was making me throw up (just not agreeing with me) so I just slept for about 5 hours. DH stayed home to take care of DD which has been nice. My overnight room was the same room I delivered DD in so it was a bit surreal just thinking that in a matter of weeks we'll be there (at full term hopefully!) having another baby. I'm just glad I'm not cramping anymore as it was pretty painful but thankfully this LO looked perfect the whole time and rarely got off the monitor.

Mia, mine always piss my mother off. She used the whole "you were 17 days late and then it took you 24 hours to get out. You'll pay one day, I know it."

Yeah, no. DD= 5 hours of active labor. Slept for almost 3 of it due to my epidural. No tearing.

DS= 9 hours from when they broke my water. Got an epi 45 minutes after they did, and I literally slept the entire time until I woke up, said I had to push, and he was born before my FIL made it to the cafeteria to get DD a drink while they waited. I had 2 internal stitches from his shoulder catching but I never even felt them.

Both pregnancies were terrible. I HATE being pregnant. I gain weight everywhere, I had hypermesis gravidarum with them both until the day I delivered, terbutaline shots for PTL, migraines, pre-eclampsia.

This time? No hypermesis. Nausea, yes. But not even severe enough to take script meds for it. Hypothyroidism but that can be managed. No major, major hospitalization just a few days here and there at the beginning for resolved issues. No constant high BP. No protein in urine or sugar.

I'm going to pay for this semi-easy pregnancy. I know it.
