The fainting stuff is scary. It only ever happened to me twice with DD, and the second time was at 35 weeks when I started having PIH symptoms but it never happened again.

Taylor - I started using swagbucks after Emma was born and keep meaning to get back into it. I have a Kindle and love using Amazon to shop for things I can't get "locally" (within an hour of me) so the gcs are really worth it.

Today is my 28th bday and DH left me a gift on the table this morning when he went to work with a note. He got me some charms for the pandora bracelet he got me last year. I was hesitant to let him get me something SO expensive last year but he loves it in that it's an easy gift solution for him as he feels he's horrible with fashion and all of that. He says how he wishes he could do more for me and he's crazy! He's my best friend and obviously has given me the best gift of all with our kids. I make sure to let him know how much I appreciate him. I found some good potentials for babysitters that DH and I need to pour through so that's been nice. After that my big thing is figuring out how to arrange our room to accommodate our co-sleeper and a dresser as DS will likely sleep with us for the first 6-8 months. We have plenty of space it's just figuring out what will go where.

Mia! Hope you had a great day!

Taylor, that is exactly how my fainting spells are. In one sense, it's nice because I can tell it's coming and I have time to sit and brace myself first. It just stinks when it happens in public

Holly, mine occurred due to my blood pressure dropping. My PIH/pre-e was very weird. My BP was either super low, like 56/70 or super high like 150/110.

Peanut butter crackers and water are the only thing that would speed the spells up to go away. You can buy packs of them, an 8pk of 4 crackers per package for $0.97 at Walmart and I kept them on mine at all times. Mine usually happened when I was driving. It felt like a panic attack without the panic/fear (which I also get- I have panic disorder).

I haven't had one this time, knock on wood!

Mia, I've been jacking Jason's Nintento 3DS for the last month and playing Super Mario 2. I'm not usually a gamer but everyone else in my home is. I'm a good player 2 though. If you have a normal Wii, I LOVE Super Mario Galaxy 1&2. Jason would play Mario and I would catch all the stars, which you need to unlock a bunch of stuff.

Holly--how scary! I hope you can find something that works for you!

Mia-- I hope you had a great day!

I have been super tired lately. And by the end of the day, I just don't feel well. I think at my next appt I will talk to the midwife about that--I try to remember to take my Zantac everyday, but I am taking TUMS at the end of the day, too.
    How are you all feeling?

Mia- Happy birthday! its funny cuz you and my husband share a birthday then, he turned 23 today lol!

Holly- i'm sorry about your fainting spells! that must stink, ive never fainted before i bet its scary!

Lisa- i understand how you feel with the tired thing. I hope you start feeling better tho!

AFM- I'm having braxton hicks at least once a day now and i'm on bedrest again for the 3rd time this pregnancy! it sucks cuz my husband is gone for the next 2 weeks and has been gone for 2 weeks so im having to try and rest enough and do everything on my own. I went into L&D at 27 weeks about 2 days after my LO dropped a lil. hes been dropping then turning a few days then dropping and repeating this. its painful. But other than that i'm actually doing okay, managed to check the mail and make myself a home cooked meal tonight, and scrub my carpet. so a few of the big doggy training stains are finally gone and i feel better about my apartment lol.

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone.

Taylor - I bet the SM games are fun. I'm not a huge gamer but if I find something I like I tend to get into it. DH would be all over SM. When I had PIH symptoms it was always when my bp was stupid high. Interesting that you had the same symptoms for high/low bp.

Lisa - I know what you mean about not feeling well at the end of the day. This last stretch of pregnancy is so brutal on your body. I hope your mw can suggest something to help your body relax.

Mariah - Funny about DH's birthday . It sucks being on bed rest especially when you're by yourself and can't totally obey it. I had that happen with DD a bit when DH was traveling for work, drove me nuts. I hope things get easier for you soon and the next couple of weeks go by quickly.

I'm still struggling in the day when DD doesn't nap but I think she'll actually cut a molar soon so that should help. We have plans to get together with one of my oldest friends from HS who Emma loves so that will be nice. We also have some errands to do so it will be easier to deal with DD if she doesn't nap at home as she'll probably sleep in the car.

I am soo exhausted, especially in the morning after a not-so-great-night-of-sleep. I took tylenol and benadryl last night which helped some. It seems like I am already spending all day in the bathroom. I got a call to schedule some ultrasounds and appointments and I called them back to say I could not make those appointments and they never called me back. Well, I am going to call again today and if I do not hear back from them I will be contacting them through other channels (like through their boss for example). I am too tired and too b!t@hy to deal with this right now. Yep, I am turning into a pregzilla.

I am so glad I don't pass out, but I am carrying full term worth of babies and placenta and I still have a long way to go.

Mariah - I think first pregnancies are filled with so much more aches and pains then the ones that come after. So... hope you feel better. I also thought there were days at the end of my first pregnancy where I felt really great, like I could do anything. I hope you get some days like that too.

Lisa- my heartburn is like that too. My midwife gave me a script of Zantac 150 to take 2x a day but I've had to take Tums all day too and sometimes more of the Zantac. Do you have your gallbladder? I had mine removed when Brandon was almost a year old due to gallstones (seriously, the worst pain I'd ever had. I would rather deliver twins naturally and unmedicated than have gallstones again) and developed mild acid reflux from the surgery. My MW says that's why my heartburn is so bad this time. . .there's not really anything to filter excess stomach acid.
I need her to either up my HB meds or switch them. I think I remember taking Prevacid last time too and it was a miracle for me. I just need her to prescribe it because Prevacid is alot more expensive and I can't afford it right now.

Mia- both my kids stopped napping at the age your DD is. It was a nightmare when Ali was in daycare at that age until they started letting her go into another room during naptime when they finally admitted it was a losing battle. Brandon will nap *maybe* 3x a week and when he does, it's for 2-3 hours a time. And randomly. But for the most part, both of them were barely over 2 yo when they stopped napping on a regular basis.

I'm actually hoping he keeps that up. When the baby gets here and she's asleep, it will let me spend one on one time with him. I'm really worried about that. Ali and Brandon are 5 years apart so there was never rivalry. There still isn't. Brandon is very much a mama's boy because I've basically been home with him since he was born (I worked at night when he slept). The 3 year age difference scares me, that I won't be able to handle two kids that young at once. And Brandon does NOT like sharing me- even when he was younger, he'd come and move Jason's hand away from mine if he touched me. If Jason and I lay next to each other, he'll come and squeeze himself into the middle of us.
