    Default AF arrived.

So AF showed her ugly face this morning. I started spotting 3 days ago, and yesterday it got much lighter (but still had blood on my cervix) and I still had some small hope that it was IB. I'm "ok" with it. I guess b/c I have a dr appt tomorrow, so I hope to finally get some answers.

I can't decide if I should stop taking my supplements...I have a short LP (only 9 days, but spotting started at CD 7) so I starting taking a supplement that contains Red Raspberry Leaf, Dong Quai, Black Conhosh, & Vitex. (starting mid-Feb) and last month I started taking Maca & Royal Jelly.

But I can still stay on Jan board b/c if I were to get preg next cycle, my EDD would be end of Jan.

Onto a happier note - close friends to DH & I have been TTC for almost 2 years - they just went thru IVF and they annouced to us yesterday that they are 5 weeks pregnant!!!!!! We are soooo thrilled for them! Actually, we are so very relieved that this worked out for them b/c they could only afford to do one IVF treatment. And b/c this process has been so tough for them, I can only feel pure joy & happiness for her

I would definitely talk to your Dr about your short lp and let him/her know about the supplements you are taking. Hope you get answers soon. Glad to hear about your friends. IVF is tough to go through.

I agree with Beth that it can't hurt to bring up your lp and the supplements. Congratulations to your friends!

I have always had a short LP. I never noticed it before I started on BCP, b/c that was over 15 years ago. & I've been off now since July 2011 and my cycles have been no more than 26 days, generally OVing on CD 15. I never even really knew what an LP was, or even that you could have a defect. (when DH & I started TTC last summer, we kinda were JLIH, so I didn't do much research on TTC)
So the maca, or RJ, or other supplements def did NOT give me the short LP.
I kinda wish I would have started other supplements like B6, or progesterone cream a long time ago, but I didn't really think it was that big of deal, since it was about 9-10 days, but after so many cycles of TTC & nothing, I'm thinking that it is an issue. I didn't go to DR since it had not yet been a year, plus my annual is beginning of the year so I was just waiting until then. Hopefully I get some direction tomorrow!
