Thread: Cravings!

yeah no they don't because when I ordered it they said they don't make that chalupa because they don't carry the baja sauce.

I would be heartbroken!!!! That's the only reason I go there!

Wendy's pisses me off too. They took EVERYTHING good off the value menu- regular chicken nuggets, Jr Bacon Cheeseburger. . and some of the items on their "Value" Menu are actually 1.29-1.79 but they don't tell you. And they smother everything in freakin mayo when I tell them not to. But I do like most of their food and it's the closest place to where we live- we live on the outskirts by the college (university town) and ALL fast food except Wendy's is literally on the other side of town.

My SIL works at Pizza Hut though so sometimes she gets me some hidden deals.

I don't get Wendy's as much DH doesn't like it.

We don't do Wendy's very often either because they took all the yummy stuff off the value menu like Taylor said. I was ticked!!

Fruit has been sounding so good...and evidentally baby agrees! I ate an entire medium size tupperware container of canteloupe and watermelon last night. Oops The girls were so mad at me!

Is anyone else having a problem finding good fresh fruit? Our winter was so messed up here and spring came too soon and now all our produce is jacked up. Every time I've bought strawberries, they look amazing and then by the next day, all of them are covered in mold. In one day! I found organic ones once and they were fantastic but I haven't seen them since.

I'd go to the farmer's market but a friend of mine works there once a week and says alot of times, it's stuff people buy from Kroger's (the only place worth buying produce at in town) and then re-sell as theirs.

No major cravings right now...

I haven't had a lot of trouble, but we tend to buy the same fruit every week. I love the my kids enjoy fresh fruit, but I wish it weren't so stinking expensive!

I KNOW!!! I bought 5 smaller Gala apples today and it was $5.09 at Kroger's with my discount. A dollar a piece and they were the cheapest ones they had!

I'm craving veggies now with creamy Italian dressing. Mmmm. . .that's what I had for breakfast. Salad with spinach greens and romaine and carrots and shredded cheese and cherry tomatoes with that dressing.

Salad for breakfast? Haha!! I haven't tried the new creamy italian dressing? Is it pretty good?

They still have the baja sauce here, DH always gets a baja taco when we go to taco bell.

We are getting a buffalo wild wings too! It's in one of the small "cities" closest to us, about 20 minutes (everything is that far) so I'm excited for that. I was way more into spicy/savory stuff with DD but buffalo wings sound good. I have been SO tempted to go up to my old Uni stomping grounds for this amazing buffalo chicken pizza that's everywhere up there. Yum.
