Thread: Definitely tonight or tomorrow!

I went to my dr. appt. today and got all kinds of great news. NST looked great, bp looked great, gbs came back negative and I'm 4cm dilated. Dr. went ahead and stripped my membranes which wasn't too bad and told me if I don't go on my own tonight I will be induced tomorrow morning at 6am. I am so excited and super emotional about finally seeing and holding my baby girl. So far, no consistent contractions, just here and there, so I'm just finishing up laundry and finishing packing last minute stuff in my bag while waiting around for something to happen. I will try to post again when something exciting happens!

Update: Nothing happened last night, so we showed up at l&d at 5:15 to start paperwork and triage stuff. It is so funny because I swear my body knows when I step into the hospital. I haven't been given anything but I'm already contracting every 4-5 minutes. So I am just waiting for my epidural and then they will break my water and wait to see if I need pitocin. So just hanging out and waiting. Thanks for all the encouragement! I will post again after something exciting happens
