Thread: First cold...

Reagan has developed her first cold. She is so stuffy, and it doesn't help that it is so dry in our house. We have been doing saline drops in her nose but she is so stuffy that she did not sleep well last night. Hope it passes quickly!

Poor Reagan! I hope it passes soon. John has finally caught the cold we all have though thankfully it's mostly just congestion and he's only coughed a few times, no breathing issues which is what the pediatrician said to watch for. Our house is very dry too so I've been running a humidifier in the downstairs during the day and am bringing it upstairs tonight.

Have you tried sleeping her in a swing / bouncer for naps? I hope she's over it quickly!

I am sorry try elevating her also have a cool mist humidifier in her room.

Awww poor Reagan!! I would get the Vicks humidifier .. I have one and its really good but be careful not to use it too often because it can cause mold .. Also run the shower and sit there with her to let the steam help her !

Poor girl! We have the cold bug going on here too. I have to put saline in his nose and suction it at least twice at night. He's been having a rough time sleeping in a bed, even when elevated. I know they make baby Vicks but I'm not sure how old the baby has to be.

We ended up getting a humidifier for her because sh was waking up with bloody boogies. She is having a hard time sleeping. So I am anxiously awaiting this bug to pass. Sorry you are dealing with it to Marie. Hope Philip gets better soon!
