Growing pains or baby's position?

I just wanted to ask your opinions on something. It doesn't happen often, but occasionally I'll get these "pains"/cramps lower in my stomach. They don't totally seem like contractions, and I often have a lot of pressure and pelvic pain with them. I had preterm labor with DD a lot and it doesn't quite seem like that. There have been a couple times where I've had BH ctx with them, but I think that's coincidental as they weren't like real ctx just annoying.

Usually drinking water and laying down helps but I don't think it's strictly dehydration related as I'm really good about my water intake.

Sometimes it seems like it's just from him being lower in my stomach then I remember DD being. Anyone else go through this?

Thanks!

Sounds like round ligament pain. They can be painful, like sciatica in your pelvic bone. I make a heating pad with white rice and a sock because I can control where the heat goes and it helps ALOT.

I was thinking it sounds like round ligament pain, too. I get it when I move too fast or move a certain way, but mine doesn't usually last.

I get tons of RLP but it's not that unfortunately. RLP never lasts that long for me and while ti's a sharp pain, it's not crampy like this. I do have a rice thingy for hot/cold pack that I'll remember for the pain though! I hadn't thought of doing that.

I realized today that I had it a lot last night, and when I was leaning against a wall today to relief the pressure, I got a little nervous. Trying to be as low key as I can. The last thing I want is to have to go to my MW and be told I'm going to need bed rest again.

Could it be sciatica? I know it's not always located where most women get it, behind their upper legs. I get it 20 wks+ but I haven't gained anything so I might be lucky this time. When I get it, it hurts for awhile and it's a very, very sharp knife-like pain in my pelvic bone that radiates to my upper thigh.

Maybe, though the cramps are in the front like menstrual. I have been having a TON of lower back/hip pain the last few days though so I was thinking of seeing who my MW would suggest for a Chiropractor to alleviate that. I'm sorry you have to go through that :(.

I have been having menstral like cramps this week too. Maybe it's just this stage of pregnancy!? Baby filling up the uterus quicker then before!? Have you had any spotting?
