I picked one up and used it the next morning and my test said I'm having a boy. I have to say I'm really hoping it's wrong because everyone in my family is really hoping for a girl! Has anyone had any experience with these tests? I don't have my ultrasound until August 7 and I'm always super impatient about finding out the gender.
I have heard if it says boy, its probably a boy. Before I had my Luke, I really wanted a girl. However being his mom has been a blast. Boys love their mom, you know. No drama. Lots of soccer, basketball, trucks and stuff. When is your next ultrasound? I was going to go to a place in the mall if I dont already know by 15 weeks. Now that I have had one boy, I would be thrilled if I was pregnant with twin boys. But I do understand the initial disappointment.
I used it with my daughter and it was right at predicting a girl at 14 weeks. I have heard that the boy result has a more accurate at home rate then the girl result (though both are over 80% in home use) but you never know! Our anatomy ultrasounds are days apart. Sending you plenty of girly dust!
Neoncandle:Yes, please don't get me wrong-boys are awesome! In my opinion they are easier to raise than girls. It's just that I've given birth to 5 wonderful boys and only 1 girl and would like to shop for pink one more time. Plus my daughter has been hoping and praying for a sister for 6 years She loves her brothers but would love a little sister. Including my step kids, my husband and I are raising 7 boys and 3 girls, but we dont' have them all the time. So,,, I'll be happy with a healthy baby of either gender, but I'm still wishing for a little girl
Nicole U: Thanks for posting that!

Since i last posted I checked amazon reviews. I also had read about their supposed high accuracy rate. Also when i was pregnant with my first (same time as Nichole), the reviews were glowingly positive in the media. I had also forgotten you have way more mommy experience than me.
Long story short, go read the amazon reviews to get an idea. Needless to say, they are not good.
I did the test with my last pregnancy. It said I was having a girl, and I had a girl. I am not going to spend the money on it this time, I'll wait until the ultrasound.
