    Default Intense Muscle Fatigue?

Anyone else experiencing this? Any research I've done has just said it's normal and is the relaxin (sp) hormone at work which in turn makes your muscles work harder (though I never remember experiencing it with DD) or possibly anemia. I assumed they did an anemia screening at 28 weeks as that's when they did it with DD. I've never had problems with it before but I know that can change.

What happens is I'll just start to feel extreme muscle fatigue out of the blue. It's been happening for about a week. At first I thought it was just being warn out from the day (despite not doing any crazy housework save for Saturday) but it happens no matter how relaxed I am. I'll feel like my shoulders/upper arms and legs (that started the other night) are completely useless. It almost reminds me of being on morphine except that my mind is totally alert and normal. If it was to happen when I was standing I'm positive I'd fall over.

I'm going to bring it up at my NST today but I thought I'd see if anyone else has been down this road. Thanks ladies!

I don't think I've experienced this...at least not to that extent. Hope all is well at your appointment!

Thanks! My appointment went well. The OB was better then I remember him being with DD. He wasn't too concerned, but the only suggestion he had besides keeping my diet well balanced was more potassium. I'd love to eat more melons but I've been having allergic reactions to it since getting pregnant so he said a tall glass of OJ a day should do the trick.
