I finally have a computer with internet while the new line are all connected (for the day anyway!)
I had an appointment the 10th. My blood sugars have been great at home only high after a big carb day hee hee, but they still want me to take the darn sugar test so I agreed to a modified version of the test which I will do Monday or Tuesday. At the apointment my BP was fantastic, however I still take it twice a week at the local pharmacy and its been jumping up and down a LOT. So they want me to keep checking and decided to be safe to start the 2 week visits now, so Ill have another appointment the 24th. My urine was always great, a little higher than it has been but still not dangerous so YAY! By this time in both my previous pregnancies I had full blown PreE so maybe just maybe I'll get through this one with out it! I had a Ffn test done bc Ive been having really achy crampy braxton hicks. It came back negative. Cervix was soft and at a 1, baby is head down and my hips and lower back HATE ME.
We discussed them not calling me back which the nurse apologized a thousand times and gave me her personal work number in the event it should happen again. I kinda felt bad after that because I was seriously one ANGRY pregnant lady. I also found out they have added a Midwife team to their hospital and team so Im going to give them a call and see if I can switch or see both. Squee!
At the next appointment I will be seeing the OB I LOATH. Everytime I hear her voice I want to punch a wall. She delivered my son and she was SO rude and pushy and tried every "dead baby on your hands" trick in the book. She doesnt like mom being in charge and thinks she is Gods gift to birth. Ew. Ick. No thank you! I will also be having bloodwork for my liver as this itching and rainbow poo thing is driving me INSANE.
Anywho thats about it on me and babe. Hope you all are doing well!
I'm so glad your appointment went so well! I had some PIH symptoms at the end with DD (35 weeks and on) and that felt horrible. I can't imagine how awful PreE must be. I hope the new MW in the office is nice. That OB sounds like a nightmare but how great of the nurse to give you her personal number, and you shouldn't feel bad. You should be a top priority no matter what your concern is. It must be a relief to have the Ffn come back negative!
Are you still itchy? If so have they done any blood draws for that?
