QOTD 6.6.12

This board is so quiet....let's do a QOTD.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

If I could travel anywhere, I'd love to go somewhere warm....maybe the Cayman Islands? DH and I have never been anywhere outside of our state, so we're looking to go to Hawaii for our 10 yr. anniversary in 2015. I love the colors and the atmosphere that the pictures portray. It looks like a wonderful place to visit!

Holly, I've been to Maui and it's fantastic!! We just went in March and it was really fun. I am so excited you're planning a trip to Hawaii!

I'd love to go to Australia and New Zealand, I've always wanted to go there. Australia just to experience the culture, see the very different animals and geography...just to be there would be awesome. I'd go to New Zealand to hike and see the spectacular scenery.

We travel all the time. I have pretty much arranged my whole life so I could travel. This is one of the reasons we didn't start having kids when we got married 10 years ago, which may be why we ended up having to do IVF... but whatever.

If this pregnancy works out we won't be going anywhere for awhile. Ha!

I would like to take a Southern Caribbean cruise... to St. Maarten, etc. from San Juan, PR as our next trip. Otherwise an Alaskan cruise sounds fun. Cruise ships have lots of activities for kids and free babysitting.

Holly We have met lots of people who traveled with the little ones. Our favorite place stateside is probably Yellowstone National Park. I highly recommend it. We first went when Luke was 6 months old. Also, with regards to Hawaii, I also recommend Maui. We went there for our honeymoon and it is the perfect "starter" island with a little bit for everyone. We also love Kona on the Big Island.

Thanks!! I'll defiantely make a note to look up information on Maui! I'm so excited to think that in a few years we'll be able to go, and I'm hoping to save enough money to pay for it all. We should be out of debt by then, so that would be a HUGE accomplishment!

I'd go to Australia! My grandparents took a trip there before my grandpa passed away and I've always loved looking at their pictures. They had such a great time, my grandma still talks about it. Smile

DH and I would like to go to Hawaii sometime when the kids are older to relax. Other then that, my top place is India. It's somewhere that has always mesmerized and fascinated me. I'd also love to go to Italy (main part of my heritage) and Germany as DH has talked so highly of it.

I did not like the Bahamas but PEI is another place I'd love to go too! So many places to see out there.
