Ultrasound and Appointment (XP)

I had an ultrasound Monday to check baby's noggin and kidneys (both have had mild swelling off and on) and both looked fabulous! (: Baby is measuring lovely, practice breathing, wiggling, flipping to Breech TRANSERVE !!! UGH lol

I started doing spinning babies, to try and get him/her to flip over again. At my 37w appt baby was head down, saw a chiropractor Saturday, Monday baby went Breech. -_- Im slightly annoyed by that.

At the ultrasound in the office today baby moved slightly so

Im saw the wicked witch today. (I have 4OBs I like only 1 of them LOVE 1 of them lol) I knew she'd be pushing a section and early delivery today. Mama doesn't play this game so it was on! lol She came in, asked me how I was, said she'd like to schedule me for a csection "just in case" I said no, she didnt like that lol She went on to say "You can not deliver a breech baby, its dangerous and could result in the death of you or baby." To which I replied for her to leave and find a different OB to finish up. I loath this woman with very fiber of my being, I wouldnt trust her to hold a penny for me.

So I kicked meanie out of the room and asked to see someone else. The doctor I LIKE came in and I laid it all out and she said "Ok, Go home walk, do spinning babies all night tonight. Come in tomorrow to L&D, we'll get you another ultrasound see if baby flipped upside down like a good lil boy/girl and if not let's see if we can help baby head down by manually pushing baby. If it works, we'll fit you with a belly band to help baby stay there."

She said it could cause me to go into labor, and then we talked risks. Hub is off at 6 tonight so we'll talk it over but I went ahead and agreed and scheduled it. I think we'll be doing it though.

Good luck....I've heard that turning baby manually can be quite painful. Hopefully he/she will flip on his/her own with the help of spinning babies.

((HUGS)) I'm glad you stood up for yourself and that your preferred OB took over. I really don't get how some doctors can have such horrid bedside manner. I hope the spinning babies worked but if not that the EMV will do the trick for you. Thinking of you!

Babies do what they will. My baby was head down until things hit the fan with my health and they needed to be delivered... and then was breech. I definitely think that if there is no hurry then no need to push a c-section. The recovery from it is definitely harder and one of my babies would have benefited from a trip down the birth canal. You're only 38 weeks... why are they even talking about delivery?

Ladies-We have a flipped baby!! My version worked! Baby was pointed down at my hip and just need a little coaxing to move his/her hands away from the face so they could move back head down. (: Im going to do spinning babies still in hopes babe stays there, I also got a belly band that should help "hold" baby in place.

It wasnt painful at all, just tons of pressure. I was so scared because I had read horror stories about them from FB friends and FB mommy pages lol But it was a breeze.

Since the version and baby being head down my BHCs have started again also! so yay!! Go me and thank you little baby for being nice to mama! lol

I made it very clear that we will not even consider a csection until 42w if baby flips again. Which is Feb 6th. Hopefully they drop this whole drama and move on, I also made it clear I will NOT see the witch again, nor will I deliver with her. For their sake, they should just accept that I am done playing games!

I think the fact that the baby has room to flip so much is good indication that its just not ready to come out Keep doing what you're doing, and when its time, things will happen Smile Hang in there Smile
