So happy to hear she is improving! Hope everything continues in that direction and that she gets to come home soon. KUP!
Oh my gosh!! Sending a load of prayers your family's way. It's good to hear Jenna is improving, but I just can't imagine the stress on you having this AND a newborn at the same time. You are def a super mommy! (((Hugs)))

UPDATE Friday, January 4, 2013
Jenna had a GREAT day! She got up and walked a little bit this morning. She got all of her IVs out of her right arm and she got her catheter out! When I got to the hospital, she was sleeping soundly in a chair. She ate a little bit of soup for lunch, and then she got moved out of ICU! Hooray!! She walked down the hall to her new room. She was in a bit of pain afterward, but she is such a trooper! We brought Shay and Dallie up to see her for a little while. I think that was good for all of them. Cami and Hayden will be up to see her soon. Around 430ish, she got up and took another walk. She had started eating some crackers, so I asked if she wanted anything else to eat...I asked if she wanted ice cream. She said no...until I told her we could make a root beer float! So she had some, but then she wasn't very hungry for dinner--for which she requested macaroni and cheese. She was in good spirits last night--acting more like herself. We are so thankful she is doing so well! She is still on oxygen and has been working on her breathing exercises (which she hates, because it hurts). Counting our blessings!
Sounds like she is doing great! Kup!

UPDATE on Jenna
Hello everyone! Jenna is doing so well! Yesterday she went walking a few times--3 or 4, I think, and she got to take a real bath! So exciting! She got to see her big sister and had some friends come play a game with her. She got her last IV out (it ended up being bad)...she was afraid she would have to get poked again, but the dr. said no! YAY! She ate some real food and started drinking a little more. We are so pleased with the progress she has made. Her spirits are high. This morning the dr said we are shooting for coming home TOMORROW!!! We are so excited about this! It does mean, however, lots of walking and breathing exercises today. We need to be done with the oxygen. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, love and concern for our family!
