WW

So I started Weigh Watchers online today. Counting points. DH and I sign up. DH did it before and had lost 10pounds. We want to loose 20 pounds each. Anyone had success with it?
I also started doing sit ups and squats today, I'm already sore (front of tighs).
Wish us luck!!

My parents both lost a ton of weight with it. I am doing something like that, but just using an app to count my calories and a pedometer. The goal is to take 10,000 steps per day which I am not close to achieving. Just be sure to give yourself enough points considering you are breastfeeding.

When i sign up I could specify I was bfeeding. I guess they took that in account when calculating my points? Anyways I went over today by 4 points, not bad for a first day. I dont want to starve myself and i know my body needs food to ptoduce milk. I will kup once a week on my results!

Vicky, my mom loves WW and has done it before. She never did it online though. In a previous Biggest Loser Challenge from preg.org, one of my team mates did WW online and lost all her baby weight that way. She loved it! I think you will be 20lbs lighter before you know it. It's great your hubby is on board with it too. Could you have him give my hubby a call? Wink

That's awesome that you've got a plan and that DH is on board with it too. I agree that eating well and keeping up with what you need for BFing can be hard. I find that even if I'm eating really healthy, I feel like that's all I do.

I started doing WW online a few years back but fell off the wagon. I did lose 5 lbs with it and liked the way it helped me to think differently about food. My cousin did it (with her dad) and lost over 100 pounds in only 6 or 8 months. She's kept it off since it worked great for her. I'm excited to here how it goes for you.

:lurk:

I am doing ww as well. I did it after I had DD and got down to my pre any baby weight in about 3 or so months. This time is proving to work well again. I am actually 1lbs under where I was at my first ob appt. last April. I am 3 lbs from my pre any baby weight, and 6 from my goal weight. I have a real hard time with getting my activity in, but hoping that will change once Im over this crud, and it gets warm out again.

Dont worry about going 4pts over, thats what the flex points are for, and tomorrow is a new day. Make sure you try to get to some meetings as well. I have found that I do better when I weigh in, use the online tools, and go to a meeting Smile

Having someone to do it with you is great. Ive actually found that my whole family is making better choices because I am Smile
