Amanda, this fall/winter has been terrible! I am just hoping that they get all their sickness before baby comes! Wishful thinking, but its been ridiculous! Oh well!

I got in a good nap today, cut out some snowmen for Christmas gifts (wood) and I am making cookies and pumpkin bread for neighbor gifts...good thing we have leftovers for dinner!

Lisa- I am sure you have been exposed to all those germs and are making excellent antibodies to pass on to your little one.

Lesli - Sorry to hear about you experiencing more of the joys of pregnancy.

Today is my half day and we are going to be in major nesting mode around here. Got frozen pizza crusts to make. Extra gingery ginger cookies to make as thank you presents for our neighbors (they helped a lot with the 12+ inch snowfall we got). Chicken to cook in the slow cooker - some to put in casseroles, some to freeze just for later. P.S. No need for a deep freezer here for the next few month. A cooler under the deck will work just as well.

Lisa - I'm glad you got so much accomplished!

Lesli - I've been there! Late pregnancy symptoms are so glamorous as you said.

Tiffany - I'm glad you got a break from work to get some nesting done. I love having a whole outdoor fridge/freezer system in the winter.

Lesli--haha, you are definitely not alone...
Tiffany--I'm glad you are getting so much done!
Patricia--sounds like you've been productive as well!

I have been in major nesting mode today--I cleaned all the windows in our house (except the garage), scrubbed my kids bathroom downstairs--that was gross!, cleaned 2 kids rooms and went through all the toys in the family room. I could hardly walk when I finished, but it feels so good to have it all done! HOORAY!!! I have a few more chores that need done, but we pretty well have a clean house and my bad is almost packed. I need to get the carseat base washed and installed, but then I feel like I will be ready for baby to come.

Yeah.... about all those plans... I am pregnant with twins and way too tired to do anything but go to work, go home and sit on the recliner. I had enough energy for the dollar store - barely. Making the cookies will be up to hubby. Of course he is really tasked with taking care of our almost-4-year-old. But I am also carrying more than 10 pounds of baby at this point... so I guess this is to be expected. P.S. it is so boring just sitting around... there are some projects I wouldn't mind doing but I can barely reach them over my big belly. Even wearing a bra - any bra is horribly uncomfortable as my fundus extends up-up-up. Oh well, I know I can't be pregnant forever. And I am thankful to have made it to this point. Oh, and our place could really use a deep cleaning. Til then it will be wishful nesting.

Tiffany, my cousin was pregnant with twins this summer and she was so miserable by this point. I wish I could give you a Merry Maid for Christmas! I have a few friends who have used them before and they rant and rave about them--how nice would it be to have someone come and deep clean your house when you don't have the energy to do it?! Try not to worry about it...it will still be there later! If I lived closer, I would come use some of my nesting energy to clean your house, too!
