I know...I'm lazy and I'm just getting around to doing my 2012 taxes now. I know I won't owe and therefore there's no hurry but I do need to have them done soon in order to get some baby benefits. I have all the documents, I just need to put it all together....In order to do them though, I realized I had forgot to change my address with the government when we moved and bought the house last year. So I called this morning to change that so I could get access to my online documentation. Well, as soon as it was changed and I logged in, I got a notice that my taxes in 2011 were re-assessed!! I had NO idea! But I won't be able to access the details until I get a security code in the mail to unlock my full account, which takes 5-10 business days!Ug....in 2011 I claimed medical on my taxes as we qualified for it due to DH having over $10k in dental that we ran out of benefits for plus 4 rounds of IUI with meds some of which weren't covered. I did the math 20+ times and read endlessly online to make sure I claimed it correctly but I probably missed something. Or maybe they are looking for official receipts since I claimed it online?? I hope I don't owe them anything! I won't know until I get my code though...POOP! DH called to have his reset too and he was reassessed also! Unless we actually call CRA we won't know the details till we get our codes in the mail! I hope they come fast!
If you have questions after you see your reassessment then you can always inbox me. I worked business taxes but I know the personal side of things as well. I find mail from CRA is fairly quick.

I'm thinking they probably want proof with all of our medical receipts, but we will see. I have them all scanned and saved so it shouldn't be that hard to gather and send if they want it!
