Last night I was supposed to go to the store and get a new bra or two (as the ones I have are hurting my ribs) but DH's family had a crisis and DH and I had to cut shopping short and go home (did I mention all of DH's family just moved back to Ontario in July and his parents are living with us temporarily?) Pre-pregnancy I was 36F. I think my cup is the same, but the band needs to be 38 now. I'm hoping I can find some 38E or 38Fs tonight when I go out!
Anyway...aside from the bra issues which I plan to fix tonight, I'm finding maternity dress/work pants to not be as comfortable as I get bigger.
I have a pair from Old Navy that has the thick below the belly waist and it's too tight when I sit down. Standing I'm ok though. It's just that I sit all day at work and it pushes on my lower abdomen and it's painful.
The other pair I have is from motherhood maternity and it's one of those "3 in 1 secret belly panel" kinds that you can fold down. I don't mind them as much but by the end of the day the panel makes me feel really confined. Also, the spot where the panel and pants meet isn't stretchy and pushes on my pelvic bone in the front when I'm sitting as it's a little too tight. Again, feels fine when standing!
I know the next size up in either pant would be too big though as they fit everywhere else. I'm not about to wear a dress as my legs are a mess.
I guess there's nothing I can really do? I hope as my belly gets bigger it moves up more and out of the way from the pant bands. Right now my uterus is still very hard and low and I think that's why it's bothering me so much.
Wow. Shopping last night was an epic fail. I was too tired to go anywhere but one store, so I hit Target. I needed at least 1 maternity t-shirt and I knew they had nice ones. I tried on several bras including some comfy sports/sleeping ones. All NO GO. Damn boobs! They didn't have anything bigger than DDD, and that was still too small on me. Guess I'm going to have to hit Motherhood Maternity this weekend as I saw they have some E/F/G sizes when I was last there. I couldn't even get bra extenders as all they had were 3 hook ones and all my bras are 2 hooks! So depressing....I hate shopping and trying on clothes!!
thats almost more depressing than living where i live and having to order online (without trying on) or drive 90 miles to try stuff on and realize it doesnt fit... lol....
