Default How is everyone feeling towards the end of T1?

How is everyone feeling so far?

I know I'm towards the end of the January, and I'm starting to feel a little better. Bloating has gone down a bunch and this morning I was down to 182 lbs. I think that is only about 2 lbs over what I was pre-pregnancy...only an estimate though as I don't know how much I weighed before. I think at some point in the last few months I weighed myself and was around 178lbs so I guess I'm not doing bad.

The only thing that's bothering me right now, is my mouth. My mouth is watering constantly (causing a little nausea) and I have the most horrible taste ever that won't go away! Everyone says it's supposed to be metallic, but that's not what I've got. I have a taste almost like I haven't brushed my teeth in days combined with the feeling that I've slept with my mouth open so it's like really bad morning breath/taste. I tried brushing my tongue but that didn't help. Chewing gum helps for a bit but I'm getting sick of chewing gum (my jaw actually hurts from chewing it so much). Eating also helps for a bit but it comes back within a few minutes of when I finish eating.

As for a belly, I've got a permanent little bump of fat that I can't suck in anymore. It's that wonderful bit of fat below the belly button but above the pubic bone. Before pregnancy I could hide it/suck it in/wear higher pants so it didn't show, but now it hurts if I try to bind it with clothing so I have to leave that area loose. It doesn't look like a baby belly and I know it's just all my insides being pushed upwards by my uterus, but not the uterus itself....

Ug... I still feel like crap... Exhausted and sick. I think part of it is the pregnancy and part of it is life.

I haven't been able to get to the gym (no time or energy), the Colorado fires are congesting me up, and I'm chasing two kids who are fully embracing their 2 and 4 year old selves.

My doc also has me taking a baby aspirin (I had pre-e with my first and my second was full term) and I think the dip in my blood pressure is taking a bit to readjust to.

Sorry to hear that. I was hoping we would all start feeling better soon.

The heat is really getting to me today though. I know I should be drinking more water, but I'm sick of peeing All. THE. TIME. I went out to get a slice of pizza for lunch, and it was literally just a walk across the street from work, and I had a splitting headache from the sun and heat by the time I got back. There is a heat alert issued today though for the extreme weather, so I know I should be more careful.

I've been lucky and have felt decent with this one. *ducks tomatoes* A bit of queasiness here and there but definitely manageable. Not much change at this point from a month or two ago, though.

I still feel pretty crummy, but it's getting better. slowly. I am learning better how to handle to nausea - EAT! and I just sleep constantly.

I was feeling better but then it got worse after posting this thread. Thank goodness I got the prescription for Diclectin. I feel so much better.
