Has anyone told people yet? If so who? How? Planning to wait?

We've told a few close friends and grandparents... Basically the babysitters for mommy's doc appointments. We'll probably tell the rest of Dh's family the end of July (family reunion) and my siblings later this month when they come for a visit.

Tomorrow is our first sonogram! I have been waiting for this to really tell. A couple of friends know.. But we haven't told our daughters yet.. Or grandparents.. Aunts.. Uncles.. Etc. Tomorrow I will be 7.5 weeks for the sonogram.. Will be able to see and hear heartbeat and will fill pretty good about telling this week. I can't wait!

We announced it to our parents at what I thought was 7 wks on Mother's Day, but my US a few days later showed me to be over a week off on dates. But even though US showed me to be less than 6 wks, we did already have a heartbeat that was actually picked up on the US for our ears to hear, not just to see. That made me feel better about telling so early. It's a good thing too, b/c our parents have told everyone they know they are so excited we are presenting them with another grandbaby. hehe

    So yes, EVERYBODY knows!

DH told his mom, then accidentally told his sister. Then his mom told him if he didn't tell his brother it would cause a problem if he found out last, so his brother knows too. Which means his whole family knows. But they live 1600km away so no worries that they will blab to anyone else but his local family there which is fine.

My sister and a good friend knew about our fertility cycle, so they both knew when I got the BFP. My sister told my BIL (I expected that). Then my DH was over to my sister's house and drinking with my sister and my niece and her BF, and he accidentally told my neice as well. It's fine though, she won't blab either (I hope).

The rest of my family we are waiting on. My sister is getting married June 28 and I'm a bridesmaid. I will be 10 weeks then and not sure how I will feel. If I feel fine and can still hide it, I might wait until my 12 week ultrasound before saying anything. If I'm not feeling well with MS then I might have to say something due to all the wedding stuff going on and not being able to help as much.

Then there are all the ladies here who know.

i told my boss and a close coworker. DH told a couple coworkers and then blabbed to the menagerie living with us (bil, mil, and vito and charity, and charity is 19 weeks pregnant) because he wanted to.

Oh yeah, DH also told his entire raid group in World of Warcraft (10 people). That I wasn't happy about but at least we are good friends with them all.
