    Default Spotting

I've had very light brown/tan spotting on and off since last Wednesday night. No pattern that I can find and it's not due to sex. Doc gave the usual advice to not worry unless it gets red, heavy, and cramps. I had one red spot once last Thursday night but that's it.

We heard the heartbeat on Thursday and all was well so my doc wasn't concerned. I had almost no spotting yesterday but a little came back today.

My doc said it could be the fibroids I have and because we are so close to the end of T1 that there is more squishing of the uterus until it moves over the pelvis, which might be the cause. No sex for now, no heavy lifting and take it easy was the advice.

    Still...not happy about it.

At around 6 weeks I had brown that turned red... Turned out to be a cyst on my ovary.
Since then I have had pink staining from Easter very consistently which apparently is just my walls and not cervix.
Just keep your feet up as much as you can.
I was lucky with my work as I had time off the first time and still got paid as it was pregnancy related.
Can you get any sick time off so you can rest or work from
    Home more?

Actually, I haven't told work yet. I should probably mention it but I'm still too afraid to say anything.

    Stalking you!

Hope that everything is absolutely perfect in there. I'm glad to hear your dr doesn't sound that concerned.

There hasn't been any today that I've noticed, so that's good.

I have a laptop bag on wheels for work, so less to carry. My laptop is heavy duty and weigh 10lbs, once you add in lunch, a book, water bottle, sweater, etc the bag can get very heavy. And I have to walk/bus to work daily, which is about 3 km of walking and an hour of buses/trains. Having a bag on wheels is so much easier (even if it's louder).

What sucks though is there is tons of construction at our train station in Toronto. I have to go up and down 3 flights of stairs to get around the station just to walk to work. That's the hardest part as I'm carrying my heavy bag up/down, combined with my asthma and the insane heat we have...adding in pregnancy symptoms isn't fun. I just hope doing that this week won't cause any more spotting.

Just wanted to give you some encouragement - I had RED spotting (and even some small clots...*swoon*) from 6-12 weeks during this last pregnancy. As my ticker says, he is now 3 months old, and he is perfectly healthy. I know it's hard not to worry, but the dr seeing the hb and you being so close to the end of T1 is a great sign. I have been stalking you and thinking about you, and will continue to do so.

    Awww Thanks!

It's weird to think I have so many stalkers! I guess that's what happens when you've been at pg.org so long and only just hitting a birth board for the first time.

I don't think I am actually that worried, just annoyed that it's happening. Sometimes I am surprised at myself because I'm way more calm than I thought I would be.
