Thank you so much. I was talking with DH today and he had to "talk me off the ledge" because I was so hopeless. I'm still not doing all that well and it sucks because I'm on call this week and at work until 9PM all alone!

Yay! The test today had a line! I'm thinking by now, the fact that it was blank yesterday and then darker today (and I had 8 hours pee yesterday and only 3.5 hours pee today) that it can't be the trigger! Still scared to get my hopes up! I seriously took it after having been paged at 3AM and not being able to hold it any longer at 6:30AM. I thought I saw something faint, then went back to bed. When I checked again at 9AM there was a line and it was pink, but faint!

    So here is my update:
I was starting to freak myself out with my cycle not coming on (it has now been six weeks since my last cycle started, which is about a week and a half over my norm) so I went to the doctor.
He did a vaginal ultrasound which showed that my uterus lining was thick and I had ovulated as a corpus lutetium was present-- there was no visible pregnancy so he said he hoped to see me back in a week or so with good news.
I told him about the tests and he said if they were positive, I had had an early miscarriage but I just don't feel that I was pregnant, I really think those tests WERE evaps. I was fairly certain I ovulated super late, for whatever reason, the 6th of this month as I got my normal, one-sided sharp pain and the two days before those pains, my normal, low back ache that leads up to ovulation (which I think happens when I get those sharp pains). So today, nine days past that, I start getting that same low back ache but no cramping like I would if AF was coming on... and I start spotting tan (I guess I can't even say spotting since it has stopped-- the back ache is gone as well, lasted maybe a couple hours) (and I don't think it is irritation from the vaginal ultrasound yesterday bc I had bright red spotting after that from the irritation, sorry if this is TMI, and it disappeared long before I went to bed with none since-- it was very short lived). Now I had implantation spotting with Alex and it seems similar! I think I have been thrown off by having regular cycles for the past six months and then having this long one BUT, bc this was the first month we were trying, I prolly scared off ovulation or something by stressing over making sure we were DTD the days I thought we needed... funny that I relax and chill over vacay the weekend before the 6th bc we couldn't DTD then if we wanted (in hotel room with littles, lol) and then O happens (and yes, we would have caught it before and day of, thank goodness)... My hope is restored. If I am pregnant, totally testament to waiting it out to make sure there is no baby before doing something like taking Provera to "clean you out". If not, I'll still be ok bc SOMETHING is happening and hopefully that something will allow us to move forward.

Very possible it was inplantation! I had that with one of mine. It was very similar to what you described. You should be able to get a positive test in a few days. Actually this time.. I had a tiny tiny hint of pink discharge one time when I went to the bathroom. It was so pale I can't even call it pink but it was different and I only thought of it when I read what you wrote. Anyways.. I got that about 3 days before I got my first very faint positive test. that happened at 7 dpo and I got my first positive at 10 dpo.
