Waiting to o

First thread of the 2015 boards!

Who else is here?

I'm on CD13, had my first HCG shot today (which I'd forgotten about until I sat down to write this post and ouch! I can feel it still!).

Is there anything I should expect with the shot? Other than knowing I'll be o'ing soon I'm wondering if there are typically side effects?

I'm here but 9 dpo.

No idea about the HCG shot but hope it works for you!

Hope the shot works for you!!!

Julie, The HCG shot will make your body produce the egg in the next 24-48 hours. (have fun with that!) Also the side effects can be mild or moderate and mimic early pregnancy symptoms. (Sore boobs, nausea, funny taste in the mouth, bloating, fatigue, heachaches ect..)

Mine go in. My tummy as well and yeah they hurt a bit. Also remember it takes awhile to leave your system so if you test early you may get a false positive

hi ladies!!

I had a bit of random spotting the other day, wondering if I've finally got lucky and this is my month???!!! I'm hopeful but cautious so far!

Yikes, tummy would suck! I'm still finding moving/sitting to hurt!

My temp spiked today, but I've been finding it a bit wonky with the clomid. I feel like it shouldn't spike until tomorrow. Either way we're supposed to DTD again today and I go back in for a scan tomorrow. Feeling super positive about our chances...then on to the TWW.

How long does the trigger shot stay in your system...I don't want to get a false positive!

Mel I hope the spotting is a good sign!!

Julie fingers crossed for you!

I'm just gonna hang out here & keep my fingers crossed for you Ladies. We totally missed O this month so I'm out already. So TTC is on hold now till we settle in Alaska in July.

Toni - are you moving to Alaska permanently, or is it a military/job move?

It's a military move. We are going from Louisiana to Alaska. We will be up there for the next 3-4yrs. We were hoping they would leave us in LA since this is my home state and the place DH wants to retire in but guess they had other ideas lol

Not sure Julie, some people like to get a ton of tests and test the trigger out. I should O tomorrow, so fingers crossed we get enough in. Hubby has decided he wants to start doijng ju jitsu and that he wants me to join in as well. Not sure what DS will do while we both train, they don't start trqining with kids until they are six, but hubby is going to ask if ds can just join in anyway but not as an official member. He has always wanted ds to do a martial art but doesn't like the tae kwon do club here which is why he didn't start as soon as he was three

Julie I have found the trigger shot can last 10-12 days. Highly suggest not to test early, False positives SUCK!

Mel Fingers crossed the spotting is a good sign.

Wendy have fun! As for the Ju jitsu, good luck and It is probably an insurance and publicly liability reason on the age as well as the ability to take and follow instructions and rules well.

I'm really not keen on doing it so hopefully I get pregnant and don't have to go for long. Ds does soccer right now which is good enough for me, I wouldn't cope with my baby even being oretend hit in tae kwon do

So we had a bit of an issue here last night/this morning. DH was unable to finish the job (we tried last night, were unsuccessful, so tried again this morning and nothing again). I'm kind of freaked out, he's embarrassed. I don't know what happened, it's the first time we've had an issue. And the timing was very unfortunate. I could feel O pains last night, and while we DTD the 2 days before I'm not confident we had enough in there. Sigh. The only thing that's keeping my hopes alive is that my temp spiked yesterday, so It's possible I o'd earlier - does an HCG shot impact your bbt? Anyways, off the the RE this morning for monitoring to confirm that I o'd.

DH had that problem when we TTC #1 and it was related to awareness of the timing needed to TTC. Part of why we are JLIH this time. Strangely enough, our timing is better than when I was stressed about getting it perfect. I hope this is it for you!

11 dpo here. Not testing until May but would guess no.

Hugs Julie! Hopefully you O'd early!

Wendy hope it all works out for the best for you!

Mel you get use to it, lol This will be our 4th move in his 12yrs in. Luckily they do all the packing & moving all I have to do is supervise lol It all goes by what they need & where they need you, And they wanted Dh back in an Airborne unit.

It's Friday - what's everyone up to this weekend? Anyone testing soon?

We have two birthday parties saturday and then going to do some random outside work around the house Sunday. I'm not sure if I'm going to test this month or just wait until after AF would arrive....

Happy Friday!!!

I'm doing a color run 5k tomorrow. Sunday is usually my day to get stuff done around the house.

Hope everybody has a great weekend!!

Birthday party on Sunday. We have a babysitter so we can go see Captain America tomorrow night. We also have to do some cleaning because they are coming to take pictures of our place so they can rent it out again.

13 dpo. If I get past Tuesday with no AF I'll probably test but if I'm not feeling nauseaous I might wait too. I hate being irregular.

A colour run sounds fun Toni - is that one where they shoot paint at you?

No exciting plans over here. DS has his first Lacrosse game, which should prove entertaining Smile we recently put in a skylight and are finishing the inside ourselves. DH needs to finish a bit and then I'll paint both the ceilings and the walls (in desperate need of a refresh!)

No testing any time soon. RE suggested I wait until May 5th, so I have lots of time yet.

No testing here. I should have O but I think it was late again like cd 17. My temp this morning was unreliable because ds woke at five and I temp at six. We will have to wait and see I guess. No big plans this weekend, just errands today and tomorrow will be hanging around the house. Hopefully the weather picks up for us so we aren't stuck inside

It's Sunday here, butit's the usual so far. Hubby sleeps all morning, I do bits and pieces that need doing. I was going to mow but it has started raining and because hubby sleeps all morning I couldn't go out and do it earlier. We have to hea into town in a bit to get a few things and I will cook a roast for tea tonight

Some kind of miracle occurred and DS slept in (Until 7:45am!! ) this am (sunday) so DH and I took any opportunity we can get. lol Having a chilled day here all round.

Haha Jodie, what a nice start to Sunday. Hubby eventually got out of bed and we went into town. We went to a store just for him to say to some old work mates and walked out with a new stove/oven combo. Now we need to get quotes for our kitchen to be redone so we can put it in, something we were planning on anyway but our butts have been kicked into gear because of the lobely new oven

The last 2 days my oldest daughter has gotten up at 6 am. I am not impressed. Normally on the weekend she sleeps in until around 7:30.

The colour run sounds like fun. The pictures from them always look crazy.

15 dpo and symptom obsessing. Nothing that shouts out pregnant though.

My LP has been really erratic (10-16 days). I'd prefer to wait until May to test but probably won't make it past Tuesday.

Apparently my will power cannot withstand a PG test in the bathroom. negative.

Based on OPKs, I O'd on CD11. It was snow white the next day so I think I'm confident in that. However, that means I am also 16 dpo so I think the test should be positive by now.

The only thing I can say based on my charts is that the better our timing is, the longer my luteal phase. I have not have a luteal phase this long. I have had cycles that were longer but they are based on a CD18 O date.

No tests left so not testing until the weekend.

Wow weird and frustrating!
I'm feeling flu-y today...achy, stomach is off. Both of which would be pg symptoms but it's def. too early. I'm also feeling a bit crampy in my uterus area - not back cramps which I usually feel. I'm probably just symptom spotting because it's really too early for anything....one more week before testing. I. Can. Do. It!

boo for a BFN Dani. Sad I really really want to test but hate that sinking feeling of reading the BFN on it. I'm 10-13dpo so I'm trying to figure out if I test tomorrow or wait until Friday.

I am so strong about not testing until I am in a bathroom with a test.

I hate seeing BFN and would rather wait for something that looks definite but then when I have easy access to a test, I think "what's the difference between today and tomorrow"

Now I'm questioning the OPK.

I didn't do any temping or opk this month so really not sure when I O'd other than CM signs. part of why I'm waiting because I could be less far along than I think. My cycles have been 27 to 32 days so all over the place. I held out this morning and didn't test. Mostly because DH woke me up on accident around 5:10am....too early to wake up enough to open the box! LOL

I may be jinxing myself, but I kind of feel like I'm having the "right kind" of cramps. Not really cramps per se, but feeling something in my lower abdomen. 8DPO, waiting until Monday to test as I'm really nervous of a false positive after the HCG shot. But, feeling super optimistic!

Still here and still nothing.

Tomorrow will match by longest cycle but on that one I o'd on cd 18.

When I took the OPKs on day 10 it was almost positive (line almost as dark as control). I assumed I was on the surge up. next day there was no line. Same the day after. I assumed that I missed the peak of the surge but that I did O. Now I'm questioning that.

I have noticed that my longest luteal phases correspond to our best timing. I guess my body likes to mess with me.

Just wanted to say HI! I am waiting to O too... Hoping for the next couple days. I was super active on pg.org in 2008 with my DS. That group has since moved to FB. Apparently I was gone too long because I had to create a new account here Sad Anyways... wanted to get back on here... things have definitely slowed down a ton over the years! Hoping for Jan 2015. Good luck all!

Still here. I've started temping but nothing definite. I'm hovering around 36.3C. Higher than my normal base line but my pregnancies were over 36.5C.

Hubby is Daddy sitting tomorrow night so I can go to a linen/tupperware party then we are going to my Mum's on Saturday and Sunday going to a childrens festival so a super busy weekend seeing as we will be out of town and without hubby b ecvause he has to work

We are heading down to my parents this weekend cause it Crawfish festival weekend. Going to take DD to the fair & stuff my face with all the boiled crawfish I can eat lol. Since I will be deprived of them when we move. Sunday is my Grandmothers bday so they are bbqing. Gonna try to convince my sister to do the color run they have on Mother's Day. Now I need to roll my butt out of bed & get ready to hit the pavement for a run with a friend this morning. Hope everybody has a great day Biggrin

I'm testing tomorrow morning. If it is negative, I'm assuming I'm not pregnant and my cycle is just messed up. Last month it was only 22 days and that was really weird for me too (I had the flu). I've never had a cycle this long (out of the times I've been off birth control).

This weekend I hope we can celebrate that we got our mortgage approved. We are having a huge deal over it because the bank is having issues with me being on a 2 year contract and not permanent. It really irritates me because the times I have been unemployed (right after school and when we moved) I found a job right away. If they turn us down we either have to try somewhere else or up our downpayment so we can qualify just based on my husband's income.
