    Default Birthday Planning Mode!

It's 3 months away but we are in full planning mode - partly because I'm a nut over planning parties and also because she's a Cookie Monster fanatic and there's next to nothing in the stores so we're scouring the net to find stuff. Anyone else???

always! I'm putting her gifts in lay-a-way on the 1st haha! as for her theme it *sounds* simple enough pink... but what i have found so far is ... um lets say more mature? I may have to do flowers or the pink poodle party i've seen.

OK i'm a sucker for pink and brown so this might be what we do

I already know that I'll be doing a Dora party but I really need to get my butt in gear and decide the where, when, and what of the party. I'm going to attempt a Dora cake and will be making cupcakes for daycare with Dora wrappers (Dora cupcakes maybe?) Other than that I've got nothing

Not sure what I will be doing for Joshua's Birthday in Sept. I am due Sept 5 so I/we have to decide if we are going to do it b4 the baby comes or after, where to have it. I don't think that either way I want to do it at our house although I love having his party in our backyard.

We will probably do Russ' at the local park again. As of right now he wants a Buzz and Woody party but that can change again.

I've been thinking about the big #3 approaching. We don't intend on having a birthday party, but I like to choose a theme and make a cake and decorate based on the theme. Some ideas I'm looking at are Diego, Toy Story, Cat in the Hat. Those are some of his favourites right now.

All I know that we are not doing a safari/jungle theme this year as one of my monkeys insists she's now a dragon since she was that for Halloween. Right now she's totally into princesses, especially Rella Rella, and tries to find any tutu or shoes remotely close to looking like her and that's what she wears for the day. It's quite comical, but she's worn out the costumes we got when they went on clearance after Halloween. So if she stays on this kick, princesses it is! It also would make it easy for all three to designate them the princess of their choice.

I've been planning Ethan's 3rd birthday party since about a month after his 2nd birthday party I'm such a planner! We're going to do a Cars party. At first, my mom was going to make a shaped Lightning McQueen cake, but last week after going to see the real Lightning and Mater at the Transportation Museum, E said that he wanted both cakes at his party. My mom is going to start working on getting both cakes designed. Shopping for presents...that's a different story. I always have problems deciding what to get E for his birthday. I always want to buy "outdoor" gifts, but it's too late in the summer to get much use out of "outdoor" gifts
