    Mari- Those sound really yummy too!!! Do you have a favorite recipe?

    Kim- do you use the buffalo chicken recipe with blue cheese or with cheddar cheese?
    Good luck with the diet. There is no way in HELL I would ever be able to do no salt, sugar, dairy, or red meat...that's like my entire diet right there! What do you eat????

    I think it uses cheddar cheese...let me see if I can find the one I use...

    I eat lots of fish, veggies, and fruit.

    This is really close to the one I make, except I use ranch instead of bleu cheese dressing and I use mozzarella over bleu cheese.

    Sounds good, cheap, and easy Do you just put everything in a crockpot instead of baking or bake first and then put in the crockpot?

    TACO DIP

    2 pkg plain cream cheese
    8 oz sour cream
    3/4 cup salsa
    1 package taco seasoning
    1/2 head lettuce, shredded
    fine shredded cheddar cheese
    1 cup diced tomatoes

    Soften cream cheese using speed mixer. Blend in sour cream, salsa and taco seasoning. Pour into serving dish.
    Layer lettuce, cheese,and tomatoes on mixture. You may add more of the layering ingredients as desired.

    Serve with tortilla chips.

    BLT DIP

    8 oz mayonnaise
    8 oz sour cream
    1 jar real bacon pieces (Hormel)
    2 sm. tomatoes, diced and drained

    Mix all ingredients and chill. Serve with toast rounds, plain bread shapes or tortilla chips.

    I would put everything in the crockpot... less mess... and add chopped celery at the end

    Ok since I'm cooking for the guys (ie putting their name on it) I'm thinking that the Buffalo Chicken Dip would be more "manly"
