Last night Dalton was the only kid at home, EJ spent the night at Mammaws. I was going to put him in the crib in the boys bedroom and he flipped out. I put him in the pack n play and he went straight to sleep. I know the crib has to be more comfortable.
I wonder why he likes the pack n play better. Atleast he went to sleep right away.
It's in the living room where we were, I think he didn't want to be alone. He cried a TON last night though, and he's mommy mommy mommy when he's awake, It's almost like he doesn't want me to get away from him since he can't have me at night time. Uggh! Mommy guilt!
Trying to avoid this Maya. I feel bad when Joshua was 4.5 months old he was out of our room and by 7 months putting himself to sleep. With Maya at almost 8 months still in our room and we still rock her to sleep. ughQuote:

It was the opposite with us. Russ was still in our room around 8 months, then when he started his ear infections and I was pg I moved him back in. Austin was in his own room by the time he was a couple months old. Even now Austin is my good sleeper and Russ isn't. Although he is better than he used to be.
My hope was to have Maya in her own room around the same time as we did for Joshua, but her room was/ is our spare room so if we have a guest she will be moved out. MIL has been staying with us about once a month over night for work.
Hmmmm I never had any problems with where my kids slept, they were all in our room different lengths of time Charlei being in ours longest (not by choice, he had no room to move into HAHAHA) I couldnt wait to get him out so our room so I could sleep more peacefully...
When we moved him we not only moved him out of his room but out of his porta-cot in our room but changed him into the cot in his room...
The transition was smooth....
I hope he is better tonight for you Amy, nothing worse than feeling mummy guilt....
Well last night I helped MIL sort out funeral stuff, it was quite healing....She neede help with music as she really wants him to have HIS music playing for the photo montage (sp?) and when he is beign carried out....
He loved Pink Floyd....so do I so I ws able to find 2 songs that arent going to shake the church apart, but will show who Uncle Richard was....
He listened to more of the earlier stuff, but it is a bit "much" for a church so I found 2 mellow songs....'Wish you were here' for the photos and 'Learning to fly' for when he is being carried out....MIL was working on her mother last night to allow that music to be played, she was very anti it, but MIL knows that Richard would love it....And she really wants the best for her brother, they were VERY close....
I love the fact MIL came to me for help, it means alot to me.....She also had her first REAL break down last night and I was there to comfort her....Its just so sad, and Im still struggling to come to the realisation that Uncle RIchard is no longer with us, it will be odd without him around, we all had so much to do with him, I think because of his illness we all cared for him as much as we could, he was a big part of all of our lives :( He was such a kind loving man, our kids LOVED him....

Woo Hoo my parents said they could watch the kids next weekend for us. I need to come up with a plan of attack to get the house organized with out having too much to handle and end up being overwhelmed. I need to come up with a list of things that I need clean/ organize and what I think DH can handle. (He will have finals to correct and final grades to submit )
