Tell me about it! But so far I don't have any friends here yet.

I've lived in St Louis, and I have friends...but they're all super busy :( It's the sad reality of modern society.

I haven't had a kids free get together with friends since before Dalton was born, and maybe before Everett was born. I miss one friend in particular but she lives 2 hours away so to do it kids free would take some serious planning!

Dentist appointment was a success for Everett and me. I'm actually getting a part of a tooth filled that isn't a cavity. It's a divot in the front tooth and it gets food stuck and makes me crazy, totally cosmetic but they said they would totally bill it to insurance and get it covered :-)

I am in the process of making more "mom" friends, from my book club and zumba. DH and I have a couple friends of his from College but it feels like the only time we do anything with them is if we make the call first.

I keep looking in to mom groups but the only one I've found is MOPS but they only meet Sept - May. If I actually ventured out to take a class then maybe I'd meet more people.

I had friends in Utah but NEVER got together with them. About the only time we got together was lunches during the week. I do miss that.

Finally local moms are posting on cafe moms. Looks like we might have a play date next week. She has a 3 yr old and a 19 month old. Sure would be nice if everyone gets a long.

That would be nice. what about any of the moms at reading time at the library?

We only went to two sessions before they took a break. It starts again in June but most of the moms don't stay. They drop the kids off and leave. Maybe if we go all summer then I'll start meeting more moms. Also want to take the kids to the pool every week, so thats another option.
