I think you totally have a right to be mad! When someone else's laziness effects your work load, then anger is justifiable. I grew up with the same mentality...too sick for school, too sick for fun. And I'm trying to instill the same mindset in E. Although...he got sent home from school late Friday afternoon, and I still let him go to a birthday party on Saturday night
Amy - I'd be mad too. My parents were the same way if I was too sick for school I was too sick for anything else. A few weeks ago DSD had a rash/allergic reaction so bad that her face was swollen. They kept her home from school but after her dr appt took her to the fair for her field trip. Then she ended up missing the next day too. She keeps telling us how she got to go to the fair even tho she was sick. I told her she was lucky she was at her moms bc her mom is nicer than I am.
I just want to vent...insurance sucks! It's expensive...I don't use it...I hate having to pay for it in the event that one day I'll need it. I feel like its such a scare tactic used to sell it
DH has insurance through his employer, its not terrible in cost about $180/month but it might as well be $1000 bc it doesn't cover $hit. We have to pay 5000 out of pocket before it covers anything. I dont even want to think about it if I'm added. I'm grateful the boys are covered by Tricare.
Sorry I'm not posting much lately. With Russ being in school and me constantly running, I forget to check in. That and I talk to Kim almost all day. Hope you are all doing well.
We are taking all the kids to the pumpkin patch complete with petting zoo, Harvest dinner at church and then the older boys have their last football game.
