It was a tough weekend with E. He seemed more defiant than normal, and was really trying to asset his independence. I'm so glad to be back at work today.

Mari - glad you had a good weekend in Denver.

Sorry E wasn't easy to deal with this past weekend. Josh can get like that as well. Drives me nuts. Hope your work day went well.

Our weekend was pretty good. We had all the kids and was fairly stress free. Saturday night our oldest threw a fit over lasagna, so I took it away and sent him to bed. Then he woke up in a mood and was a demon all day. He couldn't share toys with Russ, picked on Russ for not saying words correctly and then got mad at him and kicked him. I lost it at that point. Told him he is older than Russ, bigger than Russ and was acting like a spoiled brat just like the little boys.

Mari - Glad you had a good trip.

Kim - I've been struggling for about a week with Russ. Everything is a fight and he has enough attitude to fill a college.

Glad it's not just E that acts like that. I can truthfully say that I'm not a fan of the 4 year old attitude!

IDK if the attitude gets better tbh. I have a 9 yr old that has the exact same tude. Of course the 6 yr old does too but i think its bc she is a girl and isn't in charge here like at her house.

LOL. The boys still get to me but for the most part its nothing like it used to be. Its just another step a long the way. Now that I'm not nearly as stressed about my "to do" list, I'm able to enjoy the boys more.

I wish I didn't have a to do list... or worry about how messy my house is.

Oh I still worry. Just not nearly as bad as I used to. If I didn't have a "perfect" house and dinner on the table when Doug came home, I would stress out. I've chilled a lot. I try to keep it uncluttered and get dinner done when i Do.
