OMG this is a joke. i talked to my lawyer, he said that nothing can be resolved until x is back from his deployment because his dad doesn't have authority with the POA to settle the divorce. So 9 months or so from now I can restart the divorce proceedings. I'm going to get the contact info for DH's attorney to see what he says and also thing I'll call JAG. This is ridiculous, he did say that since there isnt a custody order I don't have to let him anywhere near the kids (also worries me bc I don't have a custody order so I won't let them out of my sight) and that he thinks I can file bankruptcy on all marital debt. Gotta check with a bankruptcy atty on that.

Can you still get married to DF?

I'm divorced enough to get married. Just nothing else is really settled in the decree. I need to call a divorce lawyer and bankruptcy lawyer next week to figure out my game plan. I don't think I should have to wait until he finally gets back from a deployment and decides to settle things. I've heard judges can make a ruling, not sure why my lawyer didn't push the judge to do that. The vindictive side of me hopes i can just file bankruptcy now and he gets stuck with the debt. I was going to have to file anyways.

How was everyones weekend?

Our was really nice. We had a fairly productive counseling appointment with Russ of Friday. Then Saturday and Sunday I had a totally different child. He might have went to timeout twice the entire weekend, didn't scream at me, the attitude wasn't as bad, he even got up and used the potty then got dressed every morning (he has been really lazy lately and will just sit in his room and go in his diaper). I'm not sure how today will go but I'm hoping for atleast 1/2 as good. Heck its 715 and he is still sleeping, thats an improvement over lately too. We didn't really do much this weekend other than house stuff. I need to call today and see about getting a hair/pedicure appt. I'm taking Brooklynn for a pedi as a bday gift. I'm excited about it.

I almost forgot....I think I have child care for our honeymoon worked out. We are going to fly one of my cousins or Russ' old teacher in. Both agreed to come for the week. That is a huge relief.

Our weekend was pretty uneventful. We cleaned up the house on Saturday getting ready for DH's 40th party next weekend. Sunday, we spent the majority of the afternoon at Chuck E Cheese. E was invited to a birthday party. I will never have a party at Chuck E Cheese. It is so loud and lots of screaming kids...I almost went crazy!

I remember Chuck E Cheese being beyond loud. I am all for quiet parties.
