We are going to lake cumberland this weekend and it will be Everett's first time swimming in a large body of water. I'm confident in his life jacket, but still nervous of how he will do. Has anybody else done this yet?

we went several times last year and she did great:) too cold yet to try it out this year..... maybe next month!
We have not. BUt I bet he will be fine. But I think you are supposed to get ear plugs since he has tubes. Have fun!!!!!!
I bought putty and headband to cover his ears. Whether he will agree to keep them in will be a difference story!
good luck getting him to keep it on:) I am not sure how Stephen would take to that.
Carl keeps on his headband, He has gotten an ear infection once when he didnt so now i just remind him of that and he agree's. As far as the act of swimming itself he does pretty good. Im sure Everett will be fine.
He did great! He didn't let go of me or DH, but he had fun while he was in the water. it wore him out too! he slept the rest of the boat ride :-)
