night time potty training

So DD1 has been daytime trained since last summer. Every morning she is soaked in her diaper. Since Christmas we have been trying night training. DD1 does a few nights and then after 3 mornings of waking up soaked, she doesn't want to do it any more so we go back to diapers. A few weeks later she wants to try again and we try slightly different things.

We have woken her up to have her go. we have cut off liquids after 4 pm. she will go potty before stories and after stories. She is still soaked in the morning. I don't know how she can still have so much pee in her bladder in the morning. I dont know what else to try. Once she is asleep she sleeps so deep. Even when we wake her every 3 hours there is a 50:50 chance she will have peed and she is miserable the next day from her sleep being interrupted.

At this point I'd be happy to keep her in diapers at night . She keeps asking to try and I want to give her the best chance of success.

I'm not sure what other possibilities there are that you haven't already tried. My oldest DD was a bed wetter because she would sleep so hard and simply not wake up to go. I know that it's stressful for them to want to please and be more independent and there is a lot of shame in waking up completely soaked and smelly even if there are no negative reactions from anyone. I took her to her ped to ensure there were no bladder issues and once that was confirmed, she wore pullups and goodnights until she was able to control her bladder at night. It felt more like underwear to her as she could put them on herself and she simply needed to throw them away rather than dealing with messy bedding. It literally was years before she was able to no longer need these and she was confident enough with them that she was even able to stay at friends' houses overnight.
