Sleep

EJ suddenly is saying "I don't like my bed" We kept a lamp on in his room and assure him there are no monsters, but he still tells us at least once a night that he doesnt like his bed. Last night he woke up at 4AM and would not stay in his bed so I let him sleep on the couch. (no talking, no playing, no tv) This morning he said the door made a noise and scared him last night.

Anybody else's LOs getting scared at night?

We've been going through a similiar experience here too. It started a while ago, but Josh started to have bad dreams and would wake up upset and want to come in our bed. He doesn't want to sleep in his bed anymore because of it. Most nights he is insisting on sleeping on the floor. He has a large pillow giraffe on the floor with his pillow and a couple of blankets. It seems to work. I guess he likes it because it's something different. Perhaps you can set up a fun floor bed to see if that would persuade him to sleep in his room. Hope something works for you!

thanks Lindsey! I hadn't thought of that. .. I thought about letting him sleep on the floor in our room, but didn't really want to go there.
