What can your Little One do by themselves?

Go bathroom by themselves?
Wipe themselves?
Undress and Dress themselves?
Put his boots, shoes, hat, mits and coat?

I just had my parent teacher conference with Joshua's teacher and they feel that at the age of 3.5 a child should be able to do the questions above by themselves.

Go bathroom by themselves? Yup...and now in public restrooms she insists on going into the stall by herself
Wipe themselves? Yes, when she poops she has the "special" princess wipes and actually does a good job
Undress and Dress themselves? Can she??? YES. Does she??? NO ROFL I take that back, it depends on the day. Somedays she's awake and alert and wants to get herself dressed but most days she's still too sleepy and would prefer that we do it for her.
Put his boots, shoes, hat, mits and coat?Yes, she can do these...well not sure about the mittens, it wasn't cold enough this winter for her to really wear them (she can zip her own coat if I get it started...and usually insists that she does it herself.

Go bathroom by themselves? Yes, and in most cases tells us that he doesn't need our help
Wipe themselves? Yes. I don't even ask if he needs help anymore. He actually does a really good job.
Undress and Dress themselves? Yes. Doesn't mean that his clothes won't be on backwards, but he doesn't mind, so I don't either.
Put his boots, shoes, hat, mits and coat? He only wears velcro shoes or crocs and is able to put both of them on by himself. He does the flip method with his coat, and can zip it if I get it started. Like Megan said, the winter wasn't cold enough, so I don't know if he can put on mittens. He's definitely able to put on a hat by himself.

Go to bathroom and wiping: Yes, the wiping she kind of took on by herself within the past year though.
Undress and dress: Not really, probably because I don't have the patience so she gets it done with my assistance.
She hasn't worn boots or mittens all winter so not sure how'd she do with that, but she's fine with her coat and hat.

Go bathroom by themselves? Oh yes, most times he goes and I don't even know he has.

Wipe themselves? Sort of, I have been encouraging him to do it himself lately because I know come Preschool this fall he needs to be totally independent in the bathroom department.

Undress and Dress themselves? Absolutely. For months now he even picks out his clothes. I intentionally sent up his closet and dresser so he could reach everything. We just went to a preschool open house tonight and I picked out his shirt to wear. He went into melt-down-mode because I got the "wrong shirt" so I sent him to his room to calm down, five minutes later he came downstairs with a new shirt as well as a new attitude. Smile This is his one quirky thing I guess. LOL He can unbutton his shirts but can't button yet.

Put his boots, shoes, hat, mits and coat? He can and does most times. It's when we are in a hurry to get out the door that I often step in to speed things up. Smile I know in preschool the kids are always encouraged to dress themselves but come December/January (at 4.5 years old) the kids are expected to fully dress themselves in their winter snow clothes.

Jenna can and does do all that, but if I know she's pooping I like to try to help with the wiping. She doesn't tell me when she goes potty though, and she doesn't flush because she's afraid of flushing, so when I do see her poop in the potty and check her she's always done a fine job by herself.
