WWYD Kids Bedding

We are finally getting Joshua a twin size bed, but now I am tossed on bedding for him. I was thinking of doing a transportation theme in the room. Should I try to find a themed comforter set or be more practical and find a solid comforter and sheets in the transportation theme? Which do you think your child would like more or you?

I thought about doing the practical approach, but was able to find an animal comforter on sale at Kohl's and went that route. E loves it! If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't change anything.

Thanks Kim.. I think that a themed comforter would be more exciting for him. Now off to find a good deal on one.

I have solid sheets on Russ' bed and a Toy Story comforter.

You can usually find cute sets at Target for cheap ($40-$50). I got Lexi a complete Dora set for $30 online but that was a toddler set. If you don't go set I think you should do solid sheets and theme comforter

Our kids room has no real decorations, but everett has a race car comforter, he really likes it when the bed is made.

The other night I took Joshua shopping with me to pick somthing out. He went with this one. It really is a cute set and so far he has been going to bed without a problem. http://www.target.com/p/Circo-Build-It-Collection/-/A-13576468
