    Default Daily Jan 9th

I have been in busy planning mode this past week for Sophia's Bat Mitzvah. I have offically gone broke. I got all the party favor stuff ordered for 60 people and let me tell you. THAT is not cheap. I also did personalized M&Ms for the tables and THAT is not cheap either. I dont how I thought this stuff could wait till now to be ordered. I had this vision of it not costing alot. Idiot. I have to make appts for cake and flowers next. And the worst part of all the outfits! Getting Sophia to pick a dress and shoes is my nightmare. I NEED to get on that SOON.

It will so much fun when it is all put together and we are enjoying but right now I am stressed out. I cant wait to see Luke in a tiny suit though.

So today I am working but at least I dont have anything going on tonight so I am starting the workout again. I have been slacking. I also will have a grumpy girl later since I believe she is getting the rest of her top braces on. John is taking her. WHEW! I also need to call about my 7 month old washer. It sounds awful. SOmethings wrong.

WOw. That was a whiny thread. Sorry. I am in a good mood though so if anyone wants to call me to say hi I promise I am not grumpy.

Sounds like a lot of work Sam! But it sounds like it's going to be perfect. Good luck with the dress shopping, can't wait to see all the pics!

I have a nice slow day today. Wish I had the whole day off! lol. The kids are back at school. Making lunches sucked today.
I start the Biggest Loser Challenege today, good motivation to start working out today since I have someone to answer to!
    Have a good day!

Sam - I can't wait to see pics!!!!!!!!!
Samantha - we can start chatting now that everyone has taken their spot! Making lunches was okay for me today since I was so happy for them to go back LOL. Too bad Jakey couldn't join them LOL.

Emma is extra clingy today - not sure if its the cold or the fact that the kids went back to school. But I can't get anything done! And I have tons to do! We brought the older kids to see Alvin and The Chipmunks yesterday - it was cute. It was nice to spend some time with just Ry and Amber.

Samantha I was thinking the same thing making lunch this morning. "This sucks." Good luck with the weight loss.

Melissa those kids are not yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are way too old!!! SOoooo beautiful!

I just spoke to the baker. She is so wonderful! The pics are just awesome of what she can do. She has Ace of Cakes on the run! She is going to do a 3 tier with blues and white. One layer will be musical notes the second and third crazy stripes and dots. It will be a "Mad Hatter" style cake if you know what that is. It will look like the layers a tipping over. Then out of the top will be an electric guitar handle sticking out! We have an appt set up for a cake tasting and designing on the 24th. We can do 3 different kinds of cake too. I am kinda hoping when we get there I can get it down to 2 tiers though. It will help a bit on the price.

    Good morning, ladies!
Sam, the party planning sounds fun except for the paying for it part.
Melissa, good luck with your babies today.
Samantha, good luck with the workout challenge!
My kids started back last Tuesday, so no huge change today, but I'm struggling through a migraine that is going on four days now. Need to call the gyn today since this has now happened twice during the "inactive" week of the BC pills I'm on to regulate my period. Also getting a little sluggish since losing that thyroid. I'm on a really low dose of levothyroxine and just had a blood test this a.m. Once my internist can read it, she can hopefully tell me how much to double up on my pills! I need to stop falling asleep at 8pm (may also be related to the migraine--ugh).
I start teaching in one week, the same week as Dave's furlough. At least I'll be making a little moolah to offset what he is losing. :/

Sam, Good Luck with the Shoe and Dress Shopping, Love your siggy!Melissa, I can't believe your little Crew you got going on there. Wow they are so Big and adorable!Samantha, what a Great Group of Gorgeous Kids as well. Good Luck on the weight loss, I need to jump on this wagon as well.ML, Sorry your fighting that daggone Migraine. I hope the Gyn has some answers and you can feel more *normal* soon. Sorry about the Furlough and Dave, but glad you'll be able to offset the finances with your income. This morning was a go go go Morning. Lots of Cleaning and phone calls. Tomorrow I think I'm gonna take keith to work so I can use the car for other errands I've been putting off. I hate only having one vehicle, but on the bright side, it's less insurance, less gas and maintenance right? HA HA! I need to make a call to the local Chiropractor this afternoon for Corbin. He hurt his back during the wrestling tournament this week and I think we may need some adjustments. He is hoping he is better in time for regionals this weekend. I'm not looking forward to the Homework Drama of the evening once Cade and Carlie get home. We have not been able to get back into the swing of things from our 2 week Break. It's good to read everyone's posts and catch up and *see* everyone! Have a Great day. I hope to be checking in more often now...I've also Joined the TTC boards as Keith and I are working towards having a little one possibly this year. We will see how that goes Happy Monday!

JEWELLA is TTC! It's been a long time since I've called you that AND used the abbrev. TTC. Ang, it's great to see you here. Sorry Corbin hurt his back. Yuck. GL with Cade and Carlie and the homework issues. (As I typed that, I suddenly remembered that we forgot to give N his dose of Focalin this morning so I just wrote a little email to his teacher.) Happy Monday back to you.

Sam, I don't envy you! And no, I'm not mad at you...I've been so busy since the kids went back! I'll try and call this week.
Samantha, I'm on the weight loss train too! I went back to weight watchers last week. I have 19lbs to lose!
ML, I know how the migraines and bc goes! Mine went generic a few months ago and ever since, I've had a migraine every other week! I went back to the brand name, so I'm hoping for the best.
Ang, I hope Corbin is okay! I love my chiro!!

The craziness is back, but I'm glad to be back to normal and on a schedule. We solved the speech therapy problem with Tyler and he has a new therapist, so I'm hoping things will be looking up there! LONG story short, the other one was NOT doing her job. Tyler has had no improvement and this chick wasn't showing up some days. I believe she'll lose her job...or at least she should! We signed Connor up for baseball. He's in the big boy league now since he has to have a skills assessment to be placed on a team. I'm glad they do this, because then the teams are better balanced. Scott is going to coach again, so Connor is excited! Alyssa's competition season begins this weekend! She has a full on convention in Augusta (4 hours away). I'm not looking forward to it. A whole lot of dancing for her, a whole lot of sitting around doing nothing for me. Bleh.

Okay, back to laundry and making dinner!!
Brandi, Scott, Alyssa, Connor & Tyler!

ML, LOL i feel like I put my disguise on coming back to the boards!! It's so funny!! Yes on CD7, will be BDing in about 5-7 days depending on what my body says... (I had to use BDing cause it had been so long lol lol)

Brandi, sounds like you have alot going on. I understand the whole sitting while she's dancing, Corbin's wrestling events are much the same with hours in between to watch him wrestle his next match...easily can put a 12 hour day at his meets.... Good luck along with the drive. Glad you got the the therapist taken care of. That had to be so frustrating. Yay for Connor and daddy coaching!
