We're slacking ladies!!! The threads keep getting cut down...soon we're going to be cut off!!
Everything's going well here. Just got back from Disney and had an awesome time. We all really needed that vacation!! Keeping busy with all of our activities. Kids are still doing well in school, so no worries there. All is good!
Hooray for a great vacation, Brandi! Glad to read that the kids are doing fine.
We had a good day today, and that's how we're taking it, one day at a time. Ava's anxiety is up and down day-to-day, and Nicky gets into the occasional argument with his friends that somehow seem to escalate to bad territory. We're working on it.
love and miss you all!
I'm so jealous of Disney, Brandi! I really need some Disney. Miss you and hope you had so much fun!
One day at a time is a great motto, ML. (((hugs)))
I really miss my July '03 friends! My life is insanely busy and I find myself longing for the days when the kids were younger. Things seemed quieter and life was more simple. I also miss our busy posts here! Seeing just a few threads is so sad. :(
OMG Kelli! Gorgeous picture!!! Are both your girls taller than you? I'm fearing the day Dylan gets taller than me...and it won't be long, only 3" to go.
Hope Ava's anxiety gets better ML. (((Hugs))) Good luck with N too. Tough stuff.
Glad you had a great vacation Brandi! I need Disney too.
I'm busy busy too. Daycare is busy and so is life. Kids are great! Things are happening here that I'm pretty excited about. But I can't open my mouth about it yet which is soooo hard. Soon though.
Thank you Samantha! Yes, both girls are taller than me. I can't wait to hear your good news!
Hey ladies! Sam, you have me VERY curious! Kelli, I know it's hard watching those talented beauties grow so big. :( Brandi, how are you all coping with all the fall extracurriculars?
We're exploring some new options with Ava's anxiety. Wondering if it might be neurological (OCD or Tourette's even?). I remember that Sam L has some experience with this? Therapist is probably going to refer her to an M.D. for an eval. She is sniffing her fingers CONSTANTLY. It's been going on at least 6 months, maybe a year. Combined w/the obsessive thoughts, it's a wonder she gets through the day. We have been able to get her to school okay the last 10 days, so I took her to dinner last night and got her a Calico Critters set as a reward for her successes. It was a good day!
Having some friends over tomorrow for snacks and drinkies and chillin while all the kids play. I like those days. :)
Brandi I am so glad you had a great trip. Everyone needs a little Disney now and then!
ML I hope Ava is doing well. If you have any questions about Sophia let me know. She is still on meds but her tics are much better controlled.
Kelli! Those are some beautiful girls! The boys are beautiful too of course but it's such a shock to see the girls as young women! Holy Moly!
Samantha! You can't temp us like that and then not tell us the secret! Are you pregnant? Moving to Boston? WHAT is it!
Nothing new here really. Getting ready for Disney next month. Talk about needing a vacation. I am burnt out and need a rest. I love the Disney job though. I have been tapped to plan a huge event that we are putting on for clients in August. I can't wait to get the budget. There will be dinner in a private venue, characters, entertainment and raffles. I can't wait to get my hands dirty! I am also going to be there to host it as well and help with guest registration. I can't wait!
I also can't wait for John to come home from Portugal. He has been gone one week. One more to go! He will be home next Sunday!
I miss you girls!
So much excitement on the horizon, Sam! I know you love the planning. :) I will email you tonight.
ML, I hope you get get Ava's anxiety sorted out. It can't be easy for her (and you!) to live that way. :( Yay for good days and Calico Critters!
Sam, I miss you!!!!!!!!!! It sounds like the Disney job is going fabulously. I am not surprised, of course. Morghan and I are up for another girls' trip in 2014. You will be my go-to person! :D
