Good morning. Ava would. not. get. on. the. bus. Her seatmate wasn't at the bus stop this morning, so she didn't have a peer to behave in front of. I tried to drag her from the car, but she held on tooth and claw, crying. I can't carry the girl any more. I told the bus driver to go on. I drove Ava to car line drop off and she threatened to not get out, but she eventually did, crying again. There is a sub at school today. Last night was good, however: no tears at bedtime. We started a "worry box" where she writes her worries down and stores them for safe keeping. She only woke up once in the night with worries and I was able to get her back down quickly. and she wrote some worries down this morning, too. But this is the first time I simply have not been able to get her physically ON the bus. Gotta go to work now!
Hope everyone had fun last night.
Oh wow ML. Poor little Ava. That makes me so sad for her.
Last night was fun! I took the boys while the girls went with friends. Gone are the days of dressing up babies and toddlers. I miss those little guys. Today we go serve at a food shelter. They said an average evening crowd is about 450. The boys are too young this time but the rest of us are serving. This will be a life lesson. Give to others in need. You take a warm meal for granted each night. This may be the only time some of these people have eaten that entire day. My heart feels good.

Kelli, you did a wonderful thing today and blessed so many lives, including your family's. You are such a giving person!
Poor Ava. How is she doing this morning?
Kelli that is such an amazing thing you did!
