What are you most looking forward to with this baby?
What are you least looking forward to?
Another girl for DD to eventually play with.
Sleepless nights, having to watch her 24/7 for a couple years.
just having her here, and watching her grow and become an amazing lil' being. And being able to work out again !!
Not looking forward to the lack of sleep and what my body is going to look like after the baby is here....
Not being pregnant anymore! Hahaha.
Probably watching dd interact with her new sister, and watching her grow and develop.:)
I didn't like the newborn stage much with dd... the lack of sleep, mostly!
Right now im most looking forward to holding him and being able to just look at him! lol, I feel like a kid counting down to christmas, time just isnt moving fast enough!
Im not looking forward to the lack of sleep, im the type of person that needs to get a good 8 hours a night or im very grumpy, i havent been sleeping well since i got pregnant, maybe its my body adjusting to what is coming and the adjustment wont be so bad, im more worried about my poor DH having to deal with me
I'm looking forward to the newborn stage. I LOVE my itty bitty newborns, before they learn that things can entertain them and start demanding to be entertained.
I'm not looking forward to DD3's reaction. I'm hoping that she won't be too jealous, but she is SUCH a mommy's girl that it might be hard for her to see a new baby monopolizing my time.
I'm looking forward to having another cuddly NB for at least the first few weeks where they are like permanently scrunched up all the time and perfect for curling up on your chest Also I'm really excited to see what this little guy's personality is like & how he & my DD interact.
Oddly I"m not that worried about lack of sleep because I really went through the ringer with my DD (didn't STTN once until 8.5 months, then not consistently until 14 months). I'm more dreading the grumpy phases like teething & growth spurts. Oh & sore nips for the first few weeks

This is WHY I'm so worried!! My dd was a brutal sleeper too, and I really really don't want to go through that again! Getting up every 2-4 hours for a freaking year is the worst form of torture. I think she finally sttn at about 14 months too, I wonder if that's coincidence? Here's hoping we both get awesome sleepers to make up for it!! :goodluck:
I am looking forward to the newborn stage. I am looking forward to seeing how the older kids take to the baby. I think that my oldest is going to love having a baby sister.
I am most concerned about the sleepless nights and the possibility of jealousy between the kids. A concern that we hope to avoid is the NICU.
