Got milk!!

So I knew my hormones are all out of wack.
Friday I had the runns.
I spent Sat vomiting and passed some of my plug.
I leaked and had to change my pants more then once on Sunday.
My face is a mess.
I have been having BH every 15-60 min for the last 3 days.
I am nesting like crazy.
And I can cry at the drop of a hat.
But I have had all that before at the end of my pregos.:)

The new one, soaking my shirt because I am leaking so much breastmilk!!! Now I am a milk god after baby is here. I change breast pads once an hour and can fill a 8oz bottle in 5 min worth of pummping, before the baby is a week old. (over supply is not a good thing and my milk reflex is strong and they choke on it or get gassy) So having milk has never been an issue. This prego because Heath is nursing (other then weeks 18-24 when I went dry) I could always express a drop or 2 and see that I had some. But this soaking myself before the baby OMG!!! I'm talking a leak that is the size of my open hand right smack dab over my left boob, not just a drop or small spot and it is still leaking.

See this is my 4th and you would think I would know what to expect NOT.

Wow that is crazy! Sorry your hormones are crazy Crazy I hope thing go more smoothly from here forward. And really hope that your boobs quit causing you so much grief!

I'm curious, when you tandem BF, does the baby skip the colostrum and go straight to regular breastmilk?

Wow, I'm sure that is kind of annoying as well as surprising. It is great to hear that your body is gearing up though, so many good signs.

Nope, your body makes what the the newborn needs so right now Heath is getting the colostrum, and then it will change as the baby needs it to for his age. Heath won't be taking any from the baby I'll just have a bigger supply from demand (like if I had twins) and around 2 weeks after the placenta is born it will change just like yours, to breastmilk 100% and the mixture between. LOL trust me Heath has newborn runny poops right now because of it Smile
