So, obviously this is my first. I have 100% every intention of giving it every effort of breastfeed. But, I'm worried about how it starts in the beginning. I know they say the milk should come in within a couple days (maybe longer if I need a c-section for some reason) and then it will be the colostrum and then a few days later I will get "real" milk. So, what happens during these first couple of days for feeding? I realize that I should just keep trying to breast feed and get him to latch, but do I need to be supplementing or anything those first couple of days? Or do I just keep trying and trying until it either works or someone tells me differently?
Either way, should I have some here as a stock up? I actually have several of the small newborn enfamil bottles that I've gotten as "gift bags" from so many things. I mean, I have like 20 of those liquid bottle things, but I have no clue how much I should have on stock if any.
Sorry for the silly questions, but thanks for the answers!!!
