Are you a sun worshiper (or tanning bed addict), a sunscreen junkie, or somewhere in between?
I used to be a big tanner, but my both of my in-laws have had skin cancer so I'm pretty diligent about sunscreen now, especially on my face(!).
I like the sun. I only use sun screen on my face.
However you can tell what my lifestyle has been. I have significant sun damage on my face from years of not using any sun screen at all.
I burn within minutes of being in the sun, so i always make sure to wear sunscreen
Not really. I'm naturally olive toned so tan easily but also don't value it as much as some might.
i used to tan outside in the summer a lot when i was younger, but i burn easily but it turns into a nice tan quickly, so i still had to drown my skin with sun screen.... My mom has gotten skin cancer a few times and i have had a freckle that had to be checked out - since then, although i love being outside, i make sure i put on the sun screen. I enjoy the lotions that now have bronzer in them when i'm feeling a little pale.
I might as well be a vampire. I burn way too easy, even with a ton of sunscreen, and it never turns into a tan. So yeah, I avoid the sun... not so easy living in Arizona, LOL!
I like being outside but I have typical Irish skin and burn easily and badly. My mom was a sun worshipper when she was younger and had melanoma removed several years ago, so I tend to avoid the sun or slather on the SPF 50+!
I never wore sunscreen growing up. I have only had 2 or 3 burns in my entire life, and I do tend to think I look better with a little colour. But my Dad had a pre-cancerous mole removed last year, which was a bit of a wake up call. DD has my colouring and I have been extremely diligent about putting sunscreen on her, which means I have to use it myself to be a good example!!
I notice it more on my hands then my face so far... They are starting to look really old:( And I know my face can't be far behind!
I will put on 30spf if I am by a pool or going to be doing something outside for more then 15 min, but I am bad about putting it back on in the middle of the day. Where I put it on the kids over and over a every few hours.
I'm a little bit of both---don't really have the time to go to the tanning bed (which is what I prefer) so I lay out in the sun when I have the time.
