No Bed Rest....Yet

I had an ultrasound today to check my cervical length. I was really afraid that it was going to be bad and that I'd be on bed rest right now, but it measured the same as a month ago so everything is still good. I have been having a lot of pressure and some pain that seemed to be from the cerclage so I was very worried. Right now, my doctor is not overly concerned about the contractions I've been having because they have not changed my cervix at all. So for right now, I'm not on bed rest. YEAH!!!!! I do still have to take it easy and stay off of my feet as much as possible and bed rest is not out of the question for the future. I will be going in every week now to check the cerclage and I will be having an ultrasound every other week to check the cervical length. I think I have been stressing out because I am getting closer to thirty weeks and that is when all my problems with the last two started.

On a side note, my DD is doing great with her cast. Her arm has not been hurting like it was before she got the cast. I am so glad that everything went well and that she is handling it all really well.

I'm so happy to hear the good news on everyone! :clappy: Been thinking of you and hoping things had improved. Keep those feet up as much as possible and take it easy on yourself (I know, easier said than done)!

I think your going to find that you go much closer to term with the cerclage. I have a GF who had a loss at 18 weeks and another at 22 and then a preterm baby at 32. The 4th prego they did the cerclage (and every baby after) and she went to term (37+) with them the next 7.
